*JOSIE's POV*

We were starting school tomorrow, Tuesday. Why not Monday? I have no idea and not that I'm complaining either.

School starting wasn't the news, it was Jeff and I's first anniversary today. (I know it should be a month into school but that slipped off my mind so idk the school gave them another month of vacation idk anything imagine lmfao)

I woke up today to my room filled with daisy flowers and a card beside me which said:

Daisies. Open field of daisies, where we said our first I Love You's.
I love you.
Happy 1st anniversary, Josiebean.
- Jeff

Not only that, Jeff also texted me that he was taking me out on a date at 7, somewhere "super classy, super fancy." Along with a paragraph expressing his gratitude and love which succeeded in making me cry.

Good morning, Josiebean. Today is a day I will cherish forever, till the day I die and even after that. You've given me so much and taught me a lot. You're my best friend and I'm convinced that you're my guardian angel, probably some literal trouble in paradise made you come here down on Earth but I'm not complaining. I know I probably sound so fucking cliché but what can I say? I'm an absolute sap when it comes to you.
When you wake up, I'll already be on my seventh coffee, trying to make this date the best you've ever been on. While you're having your breakfast, I'll be torturing Clay because he's my apprentice for this date.
I don't know if this sounds creepy or pushy but I hope I get to spend the rest of my life with you because this isn't just a high school relationship; this is much more than that. You make my heart beat so fucking fast, Josiebean.
I'm sure you'll look absolutely breathtaking tonight. I can't wait to see you. I'm, undoubtedly, thinking about you.
I love you. - Your very sappy boyfriend x

Yes, I cried. How can I not?

My gifts to Jeff were creative if I may say so myself, only I'm supposed to be waiting for a phone call from the porter that they were ready and delivered.

I crossed my legs under me, biting my lips anxiously, looking at my phone and waiting for the call.

"Hey baby, still nothing?" Mom came, giving me a mug of what I assumed a hot drink.

I took it from her, smelling the green tea. I nodded, "Anytime now."

"I like the idea so much. You put so much thought into it." Mom smiled, sitting beside me on the couch.

I smiled, "I hope he likes them."

"I'm sure he will. He'll be dumb if he didn't." Mom chuckled. I chuckled before being interrupted by my ringtone.

I immediately answered, "Hello?"

"Hello, Ms. Blair. The gifts are all wrapped up and I'm currently standing in front of the door of the address you sent me. Do I ring the door?" The man asked.
