"I was supposed to be with him, Clay. He promised me that he wouldn't leave but he vanished; he vanished into thin air."

Jeff closed the car's trunk after he had put all 4 suitcases in there, the three days-packed suitcases fit just enough.
"You kids ready?" Stephan asked Jeff and Josie who nodded before they all got in the car.
It was a 4 hour drive, each one of them was going to take shifts. But seeing as Josie and Jeff slept late, they were tired.
"Baby, take Buster in the backseat with you?" Kelsey asked.
"Jeff and I are going to sleep, when I wake up?" Josie asked her, putting her head on Jeff's lap.
"Alright."
Jeff's hand automatically went to Josie's hair, stroking it, both of them closing their eyes before drifting to sleep.

Kelsey and Stephan let Jeff and Josie sleep; they didn't wake them up to take their driving shifts, instead, both of them exchanging the driver seat between one another. They were parking in front of Josie's grandparents' house, whom were excitedly standing outside to greet them.
"Josie, Josie baby, we're here." Kelsey shook her daughter who wasn't hard to wake up, figuring she'd let her wake Jeff up.
Josie squinted her eyes, slowly sitting up and looking around her, "You and dad drove all the way?"
"It's no problem. Just wake Jeff up. Your grandparents are going to cry from excitement." Kelsey chuckled before going out of the door and following her husband who was dragging Josie's and Kelsey's small suitcases.
"Jeff," Josie shook him, "J, wake up, we're here," Jeff only groaned, turning his head to the side, Josie chuckled at him before kissing him all over his face, making him face her, a small smile on his face.
"That's how you wake a guy up." Jeff said hoarsely. If anyone could ask Josie what was her favorite sound, she'd say Jeff's morning/hoarse voice in a heartbeat. Her stomach was filled by butterflies and though she was too shy to admit it to herself, it turned her on.
"Come on, you loser." Josie laughed at him before opening the door to the other way and getting out, watching Jeff do the same before stretching. He took his and Stephan's suitcases, following Josie who was ran excitedly to hug her grandpa.
"Grandpa! I missed you so much!" Josie hugged her grandpa, Paul, tightly, who wrapped his arms around his favorite granddaughter.
"I missed you too, Joey. Look at you, all grown up!" He grinned at her.
Josie grinned back at him before hugging her grandma, Annie, whom she had seen at the beginning of her school year, "I love your hairdo, grandma."
"Really? I had Xavier do it for me." She said, touching her hair. Xavier was Josie's cousin, after coming out to the whole family two years ago, he was always the first one to call if anyone wanted their makeup or hair done as he was obsessed with both.
