"So you guys are staying in Malibu for three days?" Clay asked, his mouth full of pizza, staring at the couple who were battling each other in Mario Cart in front of him.

"Clay, that's the third time you ask. Yes, we are." Josie replied, leaning her back on the couch as she sat on the floor beside Jeff.

"It's just going to be so boring without the both of you." Clay groaned, lying on the couch, staring at the ceiling as he continued eating pizza.

"We're traveling after tomorrow, Clay. We can still hang out tomorrow." Josie said.

"Ye-Oh my God you won again!" Jeff groaned, pushing his joystick away, Josie laughing at him.

"Bow down bitches!" She stood up, jumping on the couch, doing the shimmy.

"Josie! Language!" Kelsey walked in the living room with oreos, leaving them on the table.

"Sorry mom, I won in Mario Cart for the third time in a row." Josie grinned sheepishly.

"That's my girl! Bow down bitches, or whatever." Kelsey flipped her hair jokingly, causing the teenagers to laugh.

"I swear you're like another version of Regina George's mother, mom." Josie laughed, standing next to her mother.

"I'm not a regular mom, I'm a cool mom." Kelsey joked, "But seriously, do you kids want anything? I'm about to head to the salon and I can get you stuff on the way back if you're hanging out till later."

"Thanks, mom."

"Thank you, Mrs. Blair." Clay smiled.

"Thank you, Kelsey. Have fun." Jeff smiled at his girlfriend's mother.

"Thanks, honey," Kelsey patted Jeff on the back, "Bye, guys! Call if you need anything and be safe." She blew them kisses before taking her purse and leaving the house.

"Your mom is really cool, do you know that?" Clay plopped in the couch, eyeing the box of pizza.

"I don't like admitting it but yeah, she is." Josie smiled, sitting next to Clay, "Just have another slice, Clay. Stop eyeing it like you're having some kind of sexual tension with it."

Jeff laughed, sitting next to Josie. "This is why I don't have a girlfriend." Clay groaned, taking another slice.

"You don't have a girlfriend because you, my friend, aren't really fond of human interaction with the opposite sex." Jeff informed.

"Not true. I'm not awkward around Josie." Clay shook his head.

"Was it always like that? And, you and Josie friend zoned each other." Jeff said, putting his legs on Josie's and Clay's laps.

"I love it when he goes all Dr. Phil on people." Josie whispered to Clay, which he gave her a nod to.

"Screw you, Jeff Atkins." Clay leaned his head on the couch, staring at the ceiling.
