Note: Okay, so, 1: sorry I'm posting this so late. It's 1:30am in my time right now. I was at the movies and didn't get home until after midnight. I really did plan on having this posted sooner. And 2: sorry if it's short. Like I said, it's 1am and I was trying to finish the chapter.

Chapter 16: Best Friend Visit

"Abby!!"

"Lily!"

I ran over to her in the middle of the airport and we instantly pulled each other into a hug. I helped her get her bags and our bodyguard led us out to the vehicle. I finally gave her the okay to talk once we were shut in the vehicle.

"Where's Taylor?" she asked, "I thought he was coming."

"He couldn't come, he's filming."

"Really? What's the movie about?"

"It's a bullying movie, and guess who has a song on it?"

"I don't know, who?" she asked.

"The lily rosebuds!! I showed the demo to their director and he showed it to everyone in charge and they loved our song Bully Aid. They said it's perfect for the movie!"

"That's amazing! You have one good thing after another happening to you lately. How do you do it?"

"What do you mean?"

"Come on Lily, you're a singer, a model, and now your song is being featured in a movie. You're in every magazine back home. Fame came so fast and easy for you. And here I am, the best friend and I just dropped out of college."

"Don't view it like that," I told her, "college just wasn't for you. It's not for everyone. Now you're out in the world, figuring out what's best."

"You've gotten a lot more positive, you know that?"

I smiled, "Yeah I've heard that. It's been easy being positive. I have so much to be thankful for right now. Things are just working out here."

"I'm so happy for you. So what are we doing today?"

"Today, all I have is the studio later. Seventeen doesn't need me for another few weeks so my concentration is solely on the album."

"Are you almost done?"

"We are actually! We have one more song to record tonight. We've already picked the songs we want on the album so it won't be long after that, that the album is released."

"So what are we going to do until then?" she asked.

"I'm glad you asked!" I smiled, "because we have free time. We can visit Taylor on set, or write music, or take pictures, or I can show you around LA. We can do whatever you want!"

"Let's just start with touring your house," she laughed.

"You'll love it. It's incredible. Taylor definitely went overboard with it. I specially decorated your room for you."

"You didn't have to do that."

"Abs, you're my best friend and you're staying with me. Of course I did. Besides, I had fun with it."
