Chapter 30: Six Month Celebration

*Six Months Later*

               A year and a half. I’ve been with Taylor for a year and a half and everything seemed to fall into place. Abby emailed me every once and awhile. It took her 3 months to apologize, but she finally did. Our friendship’s never going to be the same, but at least now we’re on speaking terms. The press forgot about the rumors after a month or two and both my careers seemed get very successful very fast. The Lily Rosebuds were at the top of the charts and I was doing all kinds of photo shoots for Seventeen. My relationship with Taylor seemed to go exactly where we both wanted it to go. He finished filming his movie and I was right there by his side at the premiere. We even went to the after party of the premiere which was the first time in a long time we’ve done something like that. I think Taylor liked dancing with me the most.

               After all that ended Taylor said he was going to take a break until another great movie offer comes along. It turned out to be right on time because The Lily Rosebuds are going to be headlining a tour and Taylor said he’s going to be traveling with us just like he did the first time we were on a tour. We spent all of our free time now hanging around the house or being out with friends. I wanted to spend as much time with all of them as possibly before I go on tour again including Demi even though she’s the one coming on tour with me. We figured we could make another difference by touring together again and promoting anti-bullying.

               Taylor and I just flew to Michigan to celebrate our anniversary and take a little break. The Lily Rosebuds have a performance in New York in two weeks and Taylor and I plan on enjoying those few weeks back in our house in Michigan.

               We walked into our house and it was just like we left it. “It feels like forever since we were last here,” I said as I put my bags down next to the bed.

“I know what you mean,” Taylor said, “It’s been months since we were last here.”

“It feels good though. We’ve been really busy. We need a vacation.”

“Yeah we’ve been busy nonstop since about the time we met.”

“Good point,” I laughed, “Then a vacation was really in order.”

He chuckled, “Yes it was.”

I walked out of the room and went to the balcony. I felt Taylor follow me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

He whispered in my ear, “I have a surprise for you.”

“And what is that?” I smiled.

“You’ll just have to be ready tonight.”

“What time?”

“Be ready around eight.”

“And what should I wear?” I asked.

“Nothing fancy. Wear what you normally wear.”

“Deal,” I smiled, “What do you have planned exactly?”
