Chapter 17: Bully Aid Video

"Everybody take your places!"

Today was finally the day. We're on the set of Taylor's movie filming our video. All the characters that were needed were here on set. The main idea of the video is at a high school. We're all students trying to spread the message about the bullying. They have us singing in a gym setting and there will be scenes showing bullies beating up other students while Taylor's character stands up and defends them. The first scenes we're shooting is playing in the gym. The Rosebuds were all set up in the middle of the gym and they had what seemed like hundreds of extras sitting in the stands.

"And...ACTION!"

Max counted it off and the Bully Aid video officially began. The hype and energy in the room was unbelievable. Something I've never felt before.

Time to aid and help the world

Time to rise up,

Touch the sky.

Don't. Look. Back.

And Jump!

Bully aid, bully aid

Stop the sticks and stones

Words can hurt

So aid the world.

After more takes than I ever expected and an hour of nonstop shooting, the gym scene was finally done. The Rosebuds and I stood in the middle of the gym, putting our hands in and shouting 'Lily Rosebuds' as loud as we can as the rest of the crew shouted with us. Taylor and Abby were the first ones by my side.

"That was amazing!" Abby said hugging me, "I can't believe I got to be here!"

"Thanks! It was so much fun!"

Taylor wrapped his arm around me and quickly kiss me on the cheek, "Gonna stay for the rest of the day?"

"Well it just wouldn't be right if I didn't," I smiled up at him, "these are scenes to the music video."

"You are correct. You were incredible."

"Thank you."

We walked with the other main characters to the hallway where the other scenes are going to be shot. Abby and I stood in the back out the way and just watched as they filmed Taylor's scenes.

"You and Taylor are getting pretty serious," Abby said, out of the blue.

"So?"

"So don't you ever think about your future with him?"

"Of course I think about it, but I don't want to dwell on it."

"Why not? You're dating one of the hottest celebrities there is."

"Yeah," I laughed, "But I'm not going to think about it like that. I don't like putting a lot of pressure on my relationship. Right now I'm already dealing with getting my first album out and being a model. I'm still trying to figure out how to be someone who has all this fame. It's not easy trying to live your life with a camera in your face all the time."

"And if he proposed?"

"Do you know something?" I said looking over at her. She better not be hinting to me that he's planning on proposing.

"What? Oh, no! He's not proposing!" I let out a huge sigh of relief, but she continued, "I'm just saying... what if he wants to?"

"Look, Taylor and I are going to do things our way. If he feels that it's the right time, then he'll propose. Until then..I'm not going to worry about it. We haven't been living with each other that long you know? It hasn't even been a year yet. Why are you asking me about it anyway?"

"Because it just makes me remember back in high school when I asked you about your future with Greg."

"What about it?" I asked.

"Lily, don't you remember what you said? It was completely the opposite of what you just told me. You said you didn't even know if you loved Greg so there was no way in hell you were going to think about a future with him. It's been 2 or 3 years since you told me that, and now look at you. You're telling me that you love Taylor and you would love to have a future with him, but only when the time is right."

"That's because I've changed. I was in a bad place when I was with Greg. Taylor saw the truth in me, and made sure I changed for the better. This is who I really was the whole time, I just didn't see it. Neither did Greg. I don't think he'll ever get to see it."

"Hey," Abby said, "what do you think Greg's reaction is going to be when he sees your modeling pictures online?"

"He'll probably pass out or something." We both laughed, just picturing the photographs that are out there.

"He won't know what to do," Abby continued laughing, "his jaw will be on the floor. He'll be beating himself up because he treated you so bad and now you're a supermodel."

"The type of girl that he's always wanted to date, no less." I added in.

"What are you girls laughing at?" I turned around and saw Taylor walking towards us.

"Nothing." I quickly answered. He gave me that curious look, waiting for the right answer, "Okay. We were just talking about how funny Greg's reaction is going to be when he sees my modeling pictures."

"Why?"

"Because after everything that happened between me and him, he was still a jerk and I wouldn't take him back. He'll see the pictures and see what he's lost. He'll probably pass out at the sight because he's always wanted to date a supermodel."

"He really thinks that much of himself?" Taylor said sarcastically, "of course."

"Oh yeah," I said returning the sarcasm.

"Greg was all about supermodels in high school," Abby said, "he actually had pictures in his locker."

"Even when I dated him, he refused to take them down."

"Well I'm glad that's over," he said, "I usually don't say things like this, but even I can see that I'm better than him."

"You are," I smiled, "it wouldn't even be a contest."

"Even back then?"

"Even back then," I confirmed.

"Good."
