Plot: In a land where a queen is chosen every few years solely by winning a tournament, there can be no short supply of formidable opponents. For one woman warrior however, an early defeat clearly shows her that she is lacking in experience though she may be bountiful in body.
Fortunately, while defeat could spell one's doom, her life is saved by a powerful stranger. But unfortunately for this savior, less-than-pure motives and shrewd family members mean her reward is a prison cell. Her release is prompt when the unseasoned warrior she saved, tired of her current lifestyle of nobility, sets off to prove herself.

Opinion:This series, without question, is going on my most perverted anime of all time. My god, this show was just brimming with fan service! It was crazy. And I'm sure all you ecchi enthusiasts are smiling at those words. So, let's talk about it! Here's my review of Queen's blade!
So, here's what I have to say to all you prepubescent boys out there. You're all young, and your bodies are changing. But I'm not your parent so I won't even go there. I know you're all horny little sex monsters, so if your like fifteen or younger you'll love this show. Tits and Ass as far as your lustful little eyes can see. There are very few anime that can rival this show in terms of perverse elements.
However, if your any older and have any decent taste in what actual quality is, then you'll probably hate this show for a number of reasons. Just like me.
Our plot was a horrible excuse for a story, and was a thorough insult as a fan and writer of the fantasy genre. But did I mention there's boobs? Oh boy, there's enough fan service here to live off of. Get your fill for life!
The story follows a busty and ambitious girl as she sets off on a journey. Hoping to become independent of her family and her royal responsibility. Along the way she meets people of all races and breast sizes, and eventually enters the Queen's blade. A tournament held every four years to choose the current queen of the nation.
And then boobs, boobs, boobs, boobs, boobs, boobs, boobs, boobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Boom, whole show, right there.
Honestly, what the hell were the writers thinking!? Was this show a joke on their end? I sure hope so. I can't imagine someone serious as they worked on this show. The story was only entertaining because of how ridiculous it was, and outside of that I can't say there was anything good about this anime's story.
The order of events contained a shit ton of filler, and that was how they introduced a lot of the characters. Character's that weren't very well written. The entire first season was utterly pointless and only lay out a very brittle road for the second season to follow on. Besides outlining the very basic plot, there was no point to season one. And the second season was only successful in doing what the first season should have done, and had the actual battles.
They also didn't do anything with the few interesting elements that they introduced. I was quite curious about the swamp witch, as one of my favorite characters served her. But the show never, ever did anything with her concept. She was barely spoken of!
Beyond that it was fan service here and filler everywhere else. And on top of it all, it had the nerve to pull off a shitty ending. Pushing in the "Power of friendship" Shounen cliché. It really pissed me off to see such a horrible ending to the show.
The only positive things I have to say regarding the show's story are, I really appreciate how the series has another six episodes that take place after season two. An epilogue type series of OVAs that give thirty minute episodes to each character. I can say that's something not a lot of series have. (But most don't need them) Finally, the other positive thing is, Menace. Best girl! 100% Made the show worth it!
Moving on, I can't say I agree with the people that were left agape by the show's "magnificent" art style. Honestly, the main character was incredibly ugly! While I can say that most of the characters looked decent, not many looked incredibly above average. The art style was nothing worth so much praise.
The animation was the same. Decent. However, not spectacular, but I had no issues with it.
The music was something I enjoyed though. The first opening was great, although the second was terrible. The OSTs were quite good, and in the second season I loved how each of the underworld girls got their own ending. They were all catchy and great eye candy.
I don't even want to go into the characters, but alas, it is my duty! So, for the most part, I didn't like the characters. There were a few that I favored. Some were actually interesting, one was actually funny, others just looked nice. There was shit development in the series, so don't expect great relationships. And for the most part the characters weren't deep or complex at all.
To sum it up, tits. Huge, mega milk level tits all in your face. That is this series. If you love fan service I'm sure you'll like it, or if you're a completionist. I recommend you stay away from the show unless your balls deep into fan service.
