Plot: Ririchiyo Shirakiin is the sheltered daughter of a renowned family. With her petite build and wealthy status, Ririchiyo has been a protected and dependent girl her entire life, but now she has decided to change all that. However, there is just one problem—the young girl has a sharp tongue she can't control, and terrible communication skills. With some help from a childhood friend, Ririchiyo takes up residence in Maison de Ayakashi, a secluded high-security apartment complex that, as the unsociable 15-year-old soon discovers, is home to a host of bizarre individuals. Furthermore, their quirky personalities are not the strangest things about them: each inhabitant of the Maison de Ayakashi, including Ririchiyo, is actually half-human, half-youkai. But Ririchiyo's troubles have only just begun. As a requirement of staying in her new home, she must be accompanied by a Secret Service agent. Ririchiyo's new partner, Soushi Miketsukami, is handsome, quiet... but ridiculously clingy and creepily submissive. With Soushi, her new supernatural neighbors, and the beginning of high school, Ririchiyo definitely seems to have a difficult path ahead of her.

Opinion: Three cheers of one of the best that I've seen, and also my undisputed favorite Romance anime!

Hip, hip, horary! (x3)

Oh boy, where should I even start? I've been waiting to give me opinion on this series. Let's start with genres and concepts. First off, love the supernatural feel the anime gave off. I myself like supernatural and think it gives a rather cool feeling to a show and can make things really interesting. I liked the supernatural of the show, but it was such a let down. Most characters had this transformation at their disposals, but they're hardly used throughout the show, in fact the protagonist only uses it once. Never again. Sure we see the main romantic interest using his every day of the week, but it never leads to anything.

Okay, they slay a few harmless spirits, and swords clash for like two seconds the entire show. Why? The anime isn't an action so I'm acknowledging that, so if it isn't meant to be an action, why make it out like it supposed to be one? Seriously, there's hints of it throughout the whole show, like some big, awesome fight is coming, and we almost see one near the end. It doesn't happen though. Bummer..

That leads me to my favorite thing about the entire show. The ending. This ending is magnificent, just pure amazing. The show's pacing was a bit weird, a bit off. I mean the protagonist spends half the show considering she has heart problems and finding a way to "thank" our romantic interest for his service. However through the odd pacing of this weird show, sticking to the final episode, we are rewarded with a literal perfect ending. I will be frank and honest, this ending is perfect. For spoiler purposes I won't reveal the ending, but let's say fans got everything they wanted with a cherry on top.

Thirdly is the art style of the anime and its sound track. So let's cover visuals first. The anime has its own style of visuals going for it. The style of art really is something. I haven't really seen any series to match it, and so I think its pretty special. Watching the opening for the show had me worried, as the animation for the opening alone was very different. Certain scenes just looked odd and weirdly animated, however the anime itself wasn't. As this style of visuals played out smooth and well, making the show something amazing just to look at.

That leads me to my fourth point, audio. Holy hell, what a soundtrack. I know nothing about Japanese music, but this was some seriously great tunes. I didn't really bother with a lot of the endings, as there was like twenty, but the opening was over the top and sounded just amazing.

My final point, the source of the shows life and great comedic value, the characters. We've got a sadist, oh another sadist...a machinist... Yes, yes. I see.

No, kidding. But I will say the characters where pretty great, extremely loveable. I do think however that the main romantic, our fox man, was rather creepy at times. Seriously, for a lot of the show I just thought about how creepy this guy was. He was quite obsessed, and it freaked me out. Besides that I liked him. Although, I did happen to think his back story was fucking stupid...

The other characters were all great balls of comedy that caused my laughing so hard I was clenching my gut. I liked their designs, and personalities that they were written. However I do think none of them really got enough screen time for themselves. It would have been much better if I was able to know about each character in depth.

But overall, a few problems. Not so bad, and this anime occupies my favorite romance. It really is amazing in my opinion.
