remember once crossed, my faith

am a shape of words, shifting
moulding when needs be
remember my soul
is bared in shining armour
dressed up in glamour
of rolls of film, lights!
camera! action! I smile
for the crowds, hid fright
remember I am
a Russian doll, unravel
patience, trust, careful
trust cannot be rushed
nor repaired, patience if you
truly want me -wait.
for the curtains closed
catch me backstage, glitter off
out of the spotlight.
