By Blue River, she stood

She stared into the water, jump in she could

But under the water, the nymph lay

Whispering her loving, much to her dismay

Upon her face, she carried a frown

For the nymph she envied, her most beautiful gown

Alone she felt, sitting among the cosmos

The nymph silently staring up at her, wondering why she stood so alone

Unbeknown to rest of the world

Who could only stare upon her, thinking her absurd

The great Blue River glistened in the sun

No one came to find her, not one

Inside a turmoil of misery

Pushed aside, outcast from the community

The nymph beckoned her

So jump into the river, she did

The nymph dragged her down and down

Need you never be alone again whispered she

The water of great Blue River welcomed her, bid her good bye

And as she sunk in Blue River

Not a soul heard her cry
