imitate and replicate,
i follow and will be lead anywhere by you.
do all that i must for you to love me
and not ever, ever be mad at me.
imitate and replicate
i will be ever loyal to you, and ever be afraid
that i should do wrong and you will not love me
as i do you
imitations, replicated
do all that you tell me to
i fear; i have done wrong
i ever fear one day you will not love me
or i should be the least favourite little sister
because i do not smile
like she
or be vibrant
like she
or be witty and laughing
like she
i imitate and i replicate
as i am the silent one,
(worried that i should upset or offend
with my jittering mouth)
in hope that you do love me as much as i love you, sister
love you like i would worship you sister.
i echo and i reflect
i'm afraid that i am not good enough for you, beloved sister.
