Luna pondered down the halls between classes the next day, searching for Liam. The last time she had heard from him was this morning when they were texting and he told her that he was going for a run. He had never ended up showing to school. The girl couldn't help but to worry, especially since Violet and Garrett were searching for him so that they could kill him.

She wouldn't be able to live with herself if something horrible had happened to him. Or, even worse, if he got killed. She had been worrying all day long. The girl stopped when she noticed Mason and Scott standing outside of Coach's office.

"Sorry, guys, Liam skipped my class. Maybe he's sick. Like me," Coach said, taking a swig of cough medicine. She cringed slightly, not sure how he could just drink that stuff.

"Liam didn't look sick on our run," Mason replied, his eyebrows furrowed.

"He's not getting back to any of my texts," Scott added.

"Mine either," Mason sighed.

Scott sighed. "Yeah, don't worry, I'll find him. But text me if you see him." As soon as he started to walk down the hall, Luna jumped in front of him, forcing him to stop walking.

"What happened to Liam?" she asked. Scott remain silent. "Scott, I'm serious."

"I don't know," Scott said simply.

Luna gulped. "So no one knows what happened to him?"

Scott shook his head. "The most anyone knows is that he's missing."

"Well, you're going to find him, right?" Luna questioned, laughing nervously. "I mean, you have to find him."

"I'm going to try to," Scott replied.

"Promise me you'll find him," Luna begged. Scott looked down, and Luna sighed. "Scott. Promise me."

Scott looked at her. "I'm going to try." Luna's phone started to go off. She stepped away from Scott, noticing that the number was Liam's. She sighed in relief.

"Liam?"

"Sounds like you already know the answer to that, Luna," a voice said on the other line. The voice wasn't Liam, though. It was Garrett. "You know, you made this much harder than it had to be."

"Garrett, what did you do with him?" Luna asked through gritted teeth.

Garrett chuckled. "Oh, please. As if I'm actually going to tell you. Give the phone to Scott. Now." Luna gulped, looking at Scott, who was watching curiously. Not wanting to know what Garrett would do to Liam is she didn't obey, she handed Scott the phone.

"I'll give you the money."

"What do you want, then?"
"Okay, what do you want? Do you want me to go to Stilinski? I can do that. Or I can talk to my father. He's an FBI agent."

"Then what the hell am I supposed to do?"
"How?"
"You want me to attack a car? That's your plan?"

Luna looked down, waiting for the call to end. As soon as Scott handed her her phone, she looked up. "What happened? Where's Liam?"

Scott sighed. "Luna, Liam is poisoned with Wolfsbane. Which means. . . we only have a few hours if we want to find him alive."

~~

Being the protective brother he was, Stiles refused to let Luna go find Liam with Scott. Instead, she had to sit on her bed and try her best to focus on her homework while she waited. She had sent multiple texts to Scott, but so far, he hadn't gotten back to any of them.

All that she was able to do was stare at her math homework.

Hours dragged by.

Scott still hadn't gotten to any of Luna's endless texts, which caused her anxiety level to shoot over the roof. He could be dead by now. If the Wolfsbane made it to the boys heart before Scott got to him, his heart would shut down, and he would be gone.

Luna hadn't felt this way about anyone before. So worried. Hoping that they were alive and that they hadn't left her. She wasn't sure how Liam felt about her, but she knew by now just how she felt about him.

She loved him.

The girl was scared of the word, but she knew that it could be the only one to explain how the felt. Sure, she worried about her family and friends, but it never felt like this. She truly did love him, even if it seemed unreasonable.

The sound of her phone going off snapped the girl out of her train of thought. She looked around frantically, not seeing her phone anywhere on her bed. The girl's heart raced as she searched around, soon getting on her knees and looking under her bed.

"Looking for something?" a voice asked. Luna looked up, seeing Liam, soaking wet, standing in the doorway of her bedroom.

"Liam!" she exclaimed, jumping to her feet. She ran into his open arms, her face buried in the crook of his neck. "I thought I lost you," she mumbled. "I-I mean, I thought you had died." Liam held the girl close, his chin resting on her shoulder and eyes closed. Holding her made him feel instant relief, and suddenly, he was a lot happier that he had made it out alive.

"I'm not going anywhere," he replied. Luna smiled and pulled away from the embrace, her arms still around his neck. Liam smiled down at her as the two stood there silently. He cupped her face in his hands gently, both of them staring into each other's eyes. Liam leaned closer, their foreheads pressed together and tips of their noses touching. The two of them closed their eyes as their touches soothed each other. Finally, Liam closed the space between them, his lips slowly closing over hers.

Even though she had known him for about a week, kissing Liam felt right. He was one of the few people she felt truly different around. The only boy she felt the way she felt for him.

Liam had fallen for the girl as soon as he layed his eyes on her, as cliche as it was. He didn't really show it at first, but he truly did fall for her. He had seen her during the morning of the warm-up tryouts, which pressured him to catch every shot in hopes to impress her.

Little did they know that there were both each other's first kisses.
