Luna walked down the hall between classes, seeing Hayden talking to one of her best friends, Tiffany. Luna had hated Tiffany since last year, and when she found out that she was best friends with Hayden, it only made the hatred between the two grow. Damian was also enemies with Tiffany, making it beneficial for the two to rant about her and Hayden.
Luna and Damian stood in the hall together, their arms crossed over their chests while they watched Hayden and Tiffany laugh and walk down the hall. Luna lifted up her book, debating whether or not to throw it at her enemy. She turned to Damian. "How hard do you think I can throw this?"
"Hopefully hard enough to knock them both out," Damian replied, eyeing the two. Luna watched carefully as Hayden approached Liam, Tiffany walking away to leave the two alone. Luna used her werewolf hearing to her advantage.
"Hey, Liam," Hayden smiled, fluttering her eyebrows. Luna scoffed in disgust.
"Hi, Hayden," Liam replied, no emotion showing in his voice. He closed his locker, turning to look at Hayden, who was biting her lip and checking him out. Luna had to hold herself back from lunging at the girl.
Hayden chuckled. "So, I know Homecoming is coming up, and I wanted to know if you might want to get away from Luna for a night and come to the dance with me. Party at my place after, and uh. . ." She poked Liam's chest. "Maybe we could have some fun."
Liam looked at her, his eyebrows furrowing and lips parting slightly. "Hayden, you know I'm taken. And, quite frankly, I really love her. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to cheat on her when I don't feel that way about you." Hayden scoffed, an angry look plastering on her face.
"Whatever, Dunbar. Just know one thing: you're going to regret that," she spat, walking off. Quickly, Luna looked away, trying to make it seem as if she wasn't listening in. She couldn't help but to smile at what Liam had said. He rejected Hayden because he didn't feel that way about her. Hearing from him that he only felt that way about Luna meant a lot to the girl. Of course, this pissed Hayden off.
"What are you staring at?" Damian asked, pulling Luna out of her thoughts. Remembering that he hadn't heard it because he was human, she understood why he was confused.
Luna cleared her throat. "Me? Oh, nothing. Not a thing." Luna felt an arm around her waist and turned her head, seeing Liam.
He smiled. "Do you know if you mad it onto the team?" The question made Luna remember that the results of lacrosse tryouts would he in. She had completely forgot, since Hayden had distracted her from the good things in life.
"Not sure," Luna replied. The bell to get to class rang. Luna reached up, pecking Liam's lips. "I'll tell you at lunch if I find out by then."
"Alright," Liam smiled. Because of the rotation today, she had already had Chemistry with Liam and Damian, and wouldn't have Geometry until last period. Liam kissed the top of Luna's head before the two walked separare ways down the hall.

Luna had ended up making it onto the team as a Co-captain. There was also practice tonight. Because there were so many first practices for sports, the girls soccer team for half of the field while the lacrosse team got the other half. Luna glared at Hayden and Tiffany laughed in the back of the line for them to take practice kicks, waiting for her turn to take a practice shot.
"Stilinski!" Coach yelled. Hayden and Tiffany both stopped talking, watching Luna carefully. "You're up." Luna nodded. She stepped up to the line, digging her toes into the ground. She extended her arm, sending the ball flying through the air and into the net. The girl smirked, looking back at Hayden and Tiffany, who rolled their eyes.
Hayden stepped up to take a practice kick. The girl kicked the ball into the net, putting her hand on her hip and turning, eyeing Luna. Luna rolled her eyes at Hayden, walking to the back of the shooting line. Hayden and Luna stood just a few feet from each other, as they were both in the back of their shooting lines.
"Nice shot. For a beginner," Hayden laughed.
"Wow. Can we pretend, for one second, that you're not a complete douchebag?" Luna snapped, unphased by the girls horrible attempt at an insult.
"You should be more afraid of me, Luna," Hayden growled quietly.
Luna scoffed. "Oh, please. I've had worse nightmares about failing Chemistry. Trust me, in my world, you're an ant on Whore Island."
Hayden eyed the girl angrily. "You're such an ass."
"Everyone had to excel at something, right?" Luna asked, shrugging.
"Wow, sarcasm, that's original," Hayden mumbled.
Luna looked at the girl. "Yeah, I use sarcasm instead of punching you in the face. Don't push it." Hayden rolled her eyes, crossing her arms and looking away from Luna. Luna smirked, knowing that she had won.
