Luna and Liam hadn't spoken since the whole incident with the Supermoon. Luna had sent endless texts and left many voicemails, but he never answered. How long was he going to feel guilty? He didn't mean to do what he did, and even Luna knew it. She knew that what happened was nothing like him. He would never intentionally hurt her like that.
Damian, Kenzie, Luna and Liam sat at lunch, the whole table silent. Luna stared at her food, pushing it around with her fork. She was hungry, but the overwhelming sadness she felt didn't allow her to eat. Liam was also silent, biting his lip. He would glance at Luna occassioanly, debating on whether or not to get up to be certain that he wouldn't hurt her again.
Kenzie and Damian knew that they needed to fix this.

Kenzie dragged Liam by the ear and Luna by her braid all the way to the janitor's closet, completely ignoring their complaints.
"What are you- ow ow ow! Easy on the hair!" Luna shouted, feeling like all of her hairs were being ripped out of her scalp. Kenzie huffed as she pushed the two into the enclosed area, shutting the door behind them.
"You can't keep us in here forever, you know!" Liam yelled from inside.
"You wanna bet?" Kenzie retorted. Luna rolled her eyes even though she knew that Kenzie couldn't see the gesture. "You guys aren't leaving until you get along and actually talk to each other. And don't think I can't hear you! It's a pretty thin door!"
"Of course. She couldn't just hang over my chocolate when I asked her. . ." Luna mumbled. The girl turned to face Liam, seeing him crossing his arms over his chest and pouting.
"You better get talkin'! Times a tickin' away!" Kenzie yelled from the other side of the door. Liam growled lowly.
Luna sighed. "Look, we both know that she isn't going to let us out of here without talking first. Now tell me what's going on with you."
Liam let out a breath and slumped his shoulders. "I just want you to stay away from me," he stated bluntly.
"Really? That's what this whole shebang is about?" Luna growled, her patience running slim. Liam shrugged. The girl scoffed, shaking her head at how ridiculous he was being. "This is ridiculous. We have been through thick and thin and you're just now telling me to stay away from you!?"
"Keep it down! Classes are in session!" Kenzie shouted from the other side of the door.
"Yeah, I want you to stay away from me," Liam said, looking down and refusing to make eye contact with Luna.
Luna sighed again. "This is about the other night, isn't it? The Supermoon, the night where you accidently hit me."
"Luna, I want you to stay away from me," Liam growled through gritted teeth. "Is that too much to ask!?" he continued, now yelling. Luna was taken aback by the boys outburst.
She huffed. "Liam, do you have any idea how hard it is to stay away from the ones you love most in this damn world? Too hard! I love you, and don't you think, for one second, that I would ever put anything in front of you! You are my boyfriend! I love you to the ends of the earth, and you hit me one time; one time and you go around avoiding me completely. No matter what this stupid damn world brings, I will never leave you!"
"That's the kind of talking I want to hear!" Kenzie intruded. Luna glared in the direction of the door.
"Luna, I just don't want to see you hurt and I don't want to be the one to hurt you. I love you too, but I'm dang-"
Luna interrupted him. "Don't you dare say dangerous, because I will smack you so hard that I'll be the most dangerous thing in your mind. I know what is and isn't dangerous. I know that you're safe, and I feel safe in your arms, so please just stay with me."
"Okay. . ." Liam said quietly. Luna pulled him by his collar, her lips connecting to his. Liam relaxed at her touch, kissing her back, pushing her against the wall.
Kenzie knocked on the door. "Are you guys okay now?" She heard a slight moan coming from Luna and Liam, and nodded her head a single time. "Aaaand I'm out of here. I'll cover for you guys in class."
                              ~~
"What are you two doing here late?" Coach demanded as Luna and Liam walked hand-in-hand into his class only about a minute late. They had ended up standing in the closet hugging after their kiss, losing track of time.
"Coach, they were simply walking around," Kenzie replied for them.
Coach raised his eyebrows. "Why were they walking around?"
"Well, obviously they need to walk around to get to different classes and they have legs so they can walk and there is distance between each classroom, as they obviously need to walk around. So, my point is, they walked slower than they should have and have now made it to class and you should be happy with that," Kenzie explained. "Also, I had a question on how you got the answer to number three. . ." Coach blinked twice at the girl.
"You know what? I'm not even gonna try and understand that. And stop reminding me why I drink. . . Every night."
