Chapter 17- love is in the air

Claire's POV

I got off the tea cup ride and walked over to Bella and took her hand.

"So who's that boy your crushing on Bella?" I asked.

Bella stared at me and winced. "I have no clue what your talking about. Remember? I'm too young to crush?" Bella reminded me.

"Whatever." I said. I turned back to Bella and then asked, "so what's his name?"

Bella blushed but responded, "Derek. And he is coming with us around the park. He said his momma is Katie."

"Oh ok." I said and smiled and decided to tease Bella some more. "Bella and Derek sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"

"What ever." Bella said and then skipped off in the other direction.

I saw her meet with the boy again and I saw their hand intertwine. My Bella was falling in love. I couldn't believe it.

Caleb walked over and asked, "who this boy Bella holdin hands with?"

"Oh that's Derek." I said with a lovey dovey tone. "Ohhhhhh." Replied Caleb.

I nodded. "Love is in the air. I can smell it." Said Caleb.

I looked down at Chloe and Ryan and saw that they were hugging. "Definitely." I replied.

I looked at Derek and Bella and saw that they were kissing. Yes, kissing.

I turned to Caleb and smiled. It was night time so fireworks went off in the background. "If they can kiss," I said, "then we can kiss!"

I leaned forward and kissed Caleb for what seemed like hours. The second our lips touched, a firework the shape of a heart went off in the background.

As crazy and romantic as it sounds, it was wonderful.

Sorry for such a short chapter! I don't have any homework tonight so I promise that I'll get right on top of updating!
