Claire's POV
I sat at the chair in the hospital and nervously bit my finger nails as I waited for news.
Yes, Caleb was a jerk for cheating on me, but he was still my best friend from a LONG time ago.
Finally the doctor came out and James and I jumped up.
By then, my nails were mini stubs with sharp ridges.
"What's the news?!?" Asked James excitedly.
The doctor said, "well... There is good news." He said looking at me. "...and there is bad news." He said turning his vision to James.
James frowned and wiped a tear from his eye.
"The good news is that..... Caleb Collins is alive." Said the doctor.
James slumped knowing that he would recieve the bad news.
"And the bad news.... Lana has drifted."
"Drifted into a coma?!?" Screamed James.
He sunk his head and started to cry.
"Nooooo...." Said the doctor. He winced.
"Lana has...drifted...to heaven. Lana is dead."
