Chapter Nineteen

(Yo sorry it's taking me a while to update. Summer school fam.)
Annette's POV
How? How did this happen? Danse, he's a synth. He's the only one I had sex with... I sighed and started tapping on the glass that Anthony was once in, "Father...? May I ask you something?" I heard him groan and walk in from his room door, "What is it Annette?"
I gulped, "Are.. Are the synths fertile?" He looked at me and raised an eyebrow, "I actually don't know. I'll get an experiment going. Do you think that your child is from a synth?" I started playing with my thumbs, "W-Well I only had sex with one person... Only to find out later that he was a synth.. I.. I had to kill him.." my ears flattened and I teared up. Obviously it wasn't the truth but I didn't want him looking for Danse. Plus I really miss him.. and my family..

Anthony's POV
I looked up at Liberty Prime, "Damn. So that entire thing is a weapon?" Ingram nodded and smiled proudly. I sighed. Anne would've went nuts over this thing. Oh I can't wait to get my hands on "Father".
"So when are we breaking into the Institute?" I asked an looked at Ingram. "We have to get the "Okay" from Elder Maxson." I nodded and growled slightly. I hated him with all my guts. I'm only here until I get Annie back. "Why do you seem to hate Elder Maxson?" I looked at her, "What would the Brotherhood do if he did something against human morals?" She looked at me confused. I sighed, "I found out not too long ago that he attempted to rape Annette. Honestly, the only reason I didn't kill him when I found out is because I know hes the only way I'm getting her back. Plus my daughter was there."
She had a shocked look, "And Annette still stayed.. I can see now she was keen on destroying the Institute.." I snickered slightly, "Well that too. You see before the Danse incident, They were... "close". " "And Maxson made her destroy him... now I can see why she seemed more depressed.." I nodded. I trust Ingram. She's the only one that didn't act like a dick to me.
A scribe came to us, "He gave the all clear. We're ready." Ingram instantly pressed the button and we watched in awe as Liberty Prime came to life. "Jesus.. yea there's no way the Institute is going to stand a chance." I said to no one in particular. I'm coming Annette. I'm rescuing you.

Annette's POV

I curled up in a fetal position. I want to go home. I want to be with my family. With him.. I sighed and sat up, lifting my shirt up a bit. I slowly traced the small bump with a metallic finger. They couldve at least gave me a Gen 3 arm..
I got startled when everything went on lockdown. Did they do it? My ears perked up and I heard crumbling from upstairs. I held my stomach protectively and started praying. Hoping for the best. "Please dont hurt my baby, please protect me and my baby.." By this time I could hear chaos. I started crying out of fear.
Suddenly I heard Ingram, "Anthony, the entire place is on lockdown. Youll have to access the terminal in his office." Wait... Anthony? As in MY Anthony? Things started to look up. I could hear gun fire in the next room. My ears flattened and I hoped Anthony would make it..
Suddenly it got quiet except for muffled voices. "Anthony...? ANTHONY!" I was excited when I heard him yelling my name back. Suddenly my prison door opened as well as the office door. I ran out and came face to face with a ton of Brotherhood and my brother, in a BOS uniform. "A-Anthony.." I ran to hug him but he instantly pulled a gun to my head, "Where. Is. She. Where is my real sister." I teared up. "A-Anthony... I-it's me..." he glared at me, not moving the gun, "Birthmark. Now." My eyes widened and I quickly showed him my birthmark. He lowered his gun as his eyes widened, "W-What... did they do to you...?" He grabbed my mechanical arm and studied it. I yanked it back, "Later. Did you bring me a weapon?" He handed me a laser rifle and we started moving towards the Advanced Systems. When we got there, Anthony quickly rushed to the laser guarded door. I followed him and hacked into the system, shutting off the grid. I heard chaos behind me but I ignored it. I need to protect myself. I attempted to follow him but was stopped, "Anne go to Proctor Ingram at the relay. I'll be there shortly." My ears flattened and I nodded. I quickly ran to the relay with ease. I met up with Ingram and she took one look at me before gasping, "Later." I knew she was going to ask.
About 10 minutes passed before the side doors open and I see Anthony. He instantly grabs my hand and pulls me into the relay, "That's not happening again." I chuckled nervously as Ingram was talking to Elder Maxson. The rest of the Brotherhood piled into the relay before we saw a flash of blue.
