30. An Even MORE Unexpected Battle (Vs. Lunala and Lillie)

ITS A MIRACLE! MY 3DS WORKS AGAIN!!!

However, I'm still pretty set on getting the new 2DS XL coming this Friday as of this time.

But as for this chapter, this was written while my 3DS was out of commission, so I deeply apologize for any miscalculations or errors I may have concerning this chapter.

Before re- entering Ultra Space

Lillie's POV

"I saw that light! What's going on?!"

"Hapu?"

I turned to see the petite looking Kahuna jumping off her signature Mudsdale and onto the altar floor.

"So what happened?"

I let go of my brother's hands and turned toward Hapu, who's mind seemed to be filled with a Groudon of questions. As I explained to her what had happened, Hapu seemed even more baffled with each word that had come out of my mouth.

"Well... I'm not really sure what to tell you guys..."

"Isn't there anything we can do?"

"I've seen Luma... she's quite the trainer, and quite the hardy individual. Her Pokémon are as strong, if not stronger, than the Totem Pokémon... heck, she's pretty innovative with her Pokémon to be able to turn the tide in her favor... but even so, from what you've told me about that place you've been to. This Ultra Space..."

I held my breath for what she was about to say. Although I may know all too well as to what she will say.

"she's no Pokémon herself. Even I can tell she's one hundred percent human... she's got troubles on her mind and biting off more than she could chew... I mean seriously, the first thing the girl does is fight off all those Spearow away from your poor pal, Nebby, and then a day or two after, going out to finish the island trials!"

Luma...

I felt myself quake in fear. Luma does so much for everyone. Not even worrying about herself. Every second she's in there, were twiddling our thumbs. I can't just sit her and do nothing.

"Reminiscing is nice and all, but that's the least of our problems!"

I heard Gladion shout at Hapu and her trying to calm her down. I look up to Lunala and realized that it was eying on something on my person; my backpack. I took my backpack off to see it slightly open. I put my hand in it only to feel something spherical and pull it out, revealing a Master Ball.

"Nebby... I..."

I know what it wants me to do... but now? At this time?! My best friend of out there fighting for her life and the Beast who Calls the Moon wants me to catch them?! Lunala nodded with its glowing red eyes on me. I have a feeling it's because of all the time that Nebby was Cosmog... that it may want to protect me.

"But... are you sure? This is your home..."

It growled softly, giving me its blessing. But i can't give it the battles it craves... the adventures it wishes... but she can....

"And the only people that can bring her back here..."

I readied the Master Ball in hand and poised myself to toss the item, now feeling a few set of eyes on me.
