When Friends Disappear

I shut my eyes tightly. I wanted to turn into Sora. Being Sky got me hurt, and my wounds were throbbing even more than usual. "OW!" I yelped so loud Champ, Bern and Slash dropped me. I fell onto the pavement. "What's wrong?" Champ looked worried about me, but hi face quickly flashed to impatience. Bern and Slash glared at Champ. "Uh, I mean, GET UP ALREADY!" He yelled in my ears so they started ringing. "Stay back. Give em' some air." Bern pushed Champ and Slash back. Slash bit Bern's ear and ran over to me. "He needs his wounds healed." Slash announced. "Ugh. Do we have to?" Bern whined. "If we're keeping him alive, yes." Champ snapped at Bern. Thank you... It hurt the most on my throat, where I'd been bitten a few times. Suddenly, I had the strength to stand up. Actually, I didn't have the strength. I had the will to live inside of me. I gathered my wolf powers, and ran, human and wolf speeds combined, all my senses enhanced. This was the first time in this life that I'd actually become Sky.  "CATCH HIM!" Slash yelled at Champ and Bern. Bern stormed after me, but Champ acted like he was chasing me, but really wasn't. He did this for three minutes, because his evil, twisted side made him. Champ caught up with me in four seconds. Evil sure could make a wolf run. I pushed myself to go faster. My current speed was 50 miles per hour. Champ's was 56 mph, but I was ahead of him. I can do this! I believe in myself, and so do my friends! C'mon Sky, we can do this! I sped up to 80 miles per hour. It was like I was flying. I looked down. I was flying! The outside of my wings were blue, the insides white. "KEEP AT IT!" Bern bit Slash on the tail because he had stopped to sniff a flower. "WE CAN'T! HE'S FLYING!" Champ yelled. "YOU'RE KIDDING!" Slash looked up. "GET BACK HERE!" Champ had stopped running again. Just then, I heard two shouts behind me. "SKY!" "BLAKE! JELLO!" My friends were unfrozen. I nodded my thanks to Champ, and he winked back. His entire leg was white now. Almost purified! I looked back toward the bleak, gray sky's above. Clouds were gray, and I could only see one that was white. I flapped my wings harder, and it was a good thing I did. It started pouring rain two minutes later, and by then, I'd already flown far away from Champ, Bern, and Slash. I looked below me, hoping Blake and Jello were there. They weren't. "Sky! Over here!" Blake yelled. I looked behind me. Blake and Jello were flying! They're wings were their fur colors, the inside their underbelly color. "Jello! Blake! Over here!" Lightning flashed before my eyes. "AIEEEE!" A wolf scream was heard from below us. I looked down and saw an adult female wolf run into a den. I looked north of it, and saw Netherwood school. I hope the teachers aren't mad we missed our classes today... I heard police sirens, and saw red, white and blue flashing lights. The police! My mother and father had called them. It was 9:45 in the morning. They'd called them because school had started 30 minutes ago, and I hadn't been home for two nights, and part of a day. I nodded at Jello and Blake. We landed behind the school. We changed into our human selves.  "Okay, Sora, you and Jake act hurt, so we won't get in trouble. I'll seem like I took care of you. Got it?" "Got it." Jake and I replied. Jello's human name is Leo. Leo had Jake and I by the hand, and was leading us toward the police. He was supposed to talk in a baby voice, but he spoke in a nine year old voice. It was time to tell our parents our fake story. Our parents stood there, next to a police officer in a huge, blue, saggy uniform. My parents rushed to hug me. Jake's parents went to hug him. "Mom, dad..." I whispered. Their eyes filled with tears. Everything seemed to slow down. I got a vision, while my head felt like it was splitting in half, I saw a silver wolf, with blue and black markings in the shape of stars along its back, tail and head, its eyes a light blue. Galactical... The vision faded, leaving only the dark night, parents surrounding me. "Let's take you home." My dad picked me up, holding me over his shoulder. I waved to Jake. Leo stood back at the school, and I watched him turn into Jello, then run into the shadows. We didn't have to make up any type of story, because our parents had been too worried about us to ask. "Sora, what were you thinking?" My mother shrieked Maybe I spoke too soon... I looked my mother straight in the eye, putting a hand on her shoulder. I have to tell her. Now's the time. "Mom." I started. "There's something I have to tell you. It's very important." "But, how!" She interjected. "Not now, okay? Remember when I spoke my first word? I had been holding in speaking for so long. Are you still with me? I could comprehend everything you said. When we came to this house, I realized it was mine. You see, and I just don't know how to say it, but, I've been reborn. I'm your mother..." Samantha fainted. I ran to the kitchen and tried to get onto the counter. I hate these tiny legs! I changed into wolf form and grabbed the smelling salts, then raced back to my mother, changing into Sora on the way. I opened to smelling salts, and put them under Samantha's nose. She came to shortly, and, after a cup of water, she was fine. "Did you understand what I said?" "Y-Yes. Should I be calling you mom?" "No! Not at all." I heard the TV blaring. My dad had gone to watch television. "I'm your child. Well, not really. Technically, you're my child. You can't call me mom, because my enemies will find me if you do." My mother looked overwhelmed, but there was no time to stop. "Yes, I have my wolf powers. There's just one thing... Jake is your father. You know that. I mean the one you saw ten minutes ago. He's your dad, reborn. Him, and Leo are both wolves. Jake is Blake, and Leo is Jello." "I understand." "Also, there's a wolf I have to meet, her name is Galactical, but there's a problem. I can't drive. Will you help me?" My mother nodded. "I would be honored."
