Strength Comes In Numbers

"We have more wolves on our team!" "So? I'm still stronger. I've had four years of ninja wolf training." Pez sneered. "That's not even a thing." Galactical stepped up to him. "I should know." Pez didn't seem nervous by her appearance, which was menacing. "Let's get ready to fight."  

Pez ran at me first, and I knew what he wanted, and who he was working for. I nodded at my friends. Blake took the right side, I took the left. Galactical and the other wolf saw what we were doing and they got in front of and behind Pez. "You're surrounded." Kya said. "Kya! Why'd you want to help them? You're a traitor." Pez growled. "I am no traitor." Kya valiantly spoke, making Pez nervous. Pez's fur was like sherbert ice cream, white, pink, and orange. His eyes were beady, green specks. "Yeah, well, at least I'm working for the big boss." "Rex isn't the big boss. He's weak, and short-tempered. It'd be best you stay away from him." Kya instructed. What does Kya think she's doing? She's angering Pez, but for what reason? "You speak of me like I'm dangerous." Rex emerged from the trees. "Yes. I do. I'm guessing you heard this entire conversation..." Kya stopped speaking. I guess being brave only went so far. Blake and Galactical nodded at me, and I stepped up to the plate. "Ah, Sky, the wolf I'm trying to kill. How nice of you to be here." Rex said in his sweetest voice. "Rex, don't even think about it. I know all your tricks." Rex dropped the act. "Better if I act like this?" Hi hackles raised, redish orange fur standing up straight. I could clearly see a scar over his left eye. His brown eyes shifted, and they closed in on me. I knew what he wanted to do. Fight. Pez flew past me, and he went to stand by Rex. "LET'S FIGHT ALREADY!" Rex yelled to the trees above.

"Let's fight already!" Echoed across the valley. "What was that?" Bern asked Champ. "I don't know. Do you want to check it out?" "You know it." The two Unchanging Spirits ran up the mountainside, and peered through the trees. "Look! It's Sky." Champ started pushing his evil self back, making his fur turn whiter. His fur was almost completely white, except for his brown furred tail, which meant a mix between good and evil. Champ ran over to Sky. Bern went over to Rex. The third Unchanging Spirit, Slash, was still in town, looking for answers. 

I saw Champ. He told me he would fight on my side. I noticed Bern telling Rex he'd be on his side. Whatever. I still had Blake, Galactical, Champ, and Kya. Rex only had Bern and Pez. Three V.S four, if Champ's evil side didn't take over. I noticed his head was covered in white fur, and his brown eyes had changed to blue. His tail was almost completely white. Rex ran at me, whilst Pez and Kya began fighting. Galactical and Blake took on Bern. Champ ran to help me subdue Rex. Rex slapped me in the face with a huge paw. Where is Autumn? I looked around as I fell on the ground. Maybe he went to find Jello. I kicked Rex off me, and I saw Champ bite Rex on the paw. Rex's body was flipped over, back on the ground, underbelly visible. Two slashes from my claws would kill him. Unless Champ wanted to do it. The thing is, I'd never really killed before. I'd only done it once before, to Galactical's mom, whom I thought was evil. I guessed Galactical had forgiven me for that. "Would you do it?" I asked Champ, stepping back. Champ nodded, and I managed to look away just as his claw slit open Rex's stomach. "Sky... There's something I need to tell you..." Rex spoke while he was wheezing. He took a breath. I walked over to him and looked into his eyes. "There are many wolves after you. The city is not a safe place anymore. With all your friends, they could turn evil at any moment, just like you witnessed Jello doing." "How did you-" "No questions. Only answers. You will be chased by a renegade wolf named Eagle, who's real name is Connor. He'll be your friend- over time. Please, just, find him." With that, Rex died. Pez and Bern ran away the in following two minutes, afraid of us. "I guess we did it. We're done." Blake said. "Not even close. We have to find Connor." Galactical, Blake, Champ and I started running toward the city. We couldn't live with humans anymore. For now, we were wolves.
