Sora opened her eyes. Looking around the room, she noticed that the television was on. Sora got to her feet and strode across the hardwood floor, careful not to wake her parents. She was smart for a two year old, having learned her colors, and already knowing how to speak. Sora could use large words, that any other two year old was incapable of using just yet. She felt that she was part of something larger than herself. 7 years later... It was a Sunday morning, and Sora was supposed to have a play date. Connor, Galaxy, Trinity, Jake, and William were coming over. They would become Connor, Galactical, Kya, Blake, and Champ. Sora's parents were having a new year's party, so the kids could hang out. "Hey, Sora." Jake said, running his fingers through his dirty-blonde hair. His blue eyes sparkled as he spoke. "Hi." Sora said. Sora was now nine, as were all of her friends. Their wolf selves lay deep inside them. Sora ran upstairs to her room and opened the window. The cool, night air washed over Sora. Pushing the window so that it was all the way open, Sora went back downstairs to find her mom. "Mom, could I stay up until midnight?" "Sure, it's not a school day." Sora's mom, Cheryl, said cheerily. Sora found all of her friends and led them to her room. "What are we doing up here?" William asked. "Why's the window open?" Galaxy stepped toward the window. "Why aren't we at the party?" Connor questioned. "Sora, what are we doing here?" Trinity asked. Suddenly, everybody started talking. "Guys, listen!" Jake yelled. Everyone was instantly quiet. "Yes. We are going to go outside. Into the woods." Sora said. She then proceeded to climb out the window, and then was on the roof. She jumped off the roof, which wasn't that high off the ground. Sora's friends landed beside her. "What are we doing out here?" William asked. "Have you guys ever felt that you were part of something bigger than yourself? That you needed to become something to achieve your goals?" "Yes." Every one of her friends said. They walked toward the woods. Suddenly, a piercing blue light shot into Sora's eyes. She fell on something. Then everything went black. A blue wolf with white chest fur, a white tail tip, a white streak going from the top of her muzzle to the base of her eyes, and the insides of her ears were white. Her eyes were light blue, as was her fur. "Sora." Her voice was kind, and sounded gentle. Sora crept forward. Everything was green. Sora had no idea where she was. The wolf walked toward her. "I am Sky. The Great Wolf. In our wolf world, catastrophe has struck. All of the wolves are fighting each other every day. Me and my wolf friends, Champ, Blake, Galactical, and Kya need to pair with a human side. We have chose you and your friends to fill this role. I will only be able to guide you in your wolf training until you master it. Once that happens, who I am now will disappear and go into another wolf's body, to be Reborn. I will become a different wolf." "I agree to be the human side of you." The forest was now back in view. Sora's friends were lying on the forest floor. "All you have to do is become me." Sky's voice whispered in Sora's ear. Instantly, Sora was shorter. "Why is the ground closer to me?" She asked. Sora lifted a paw. It was covered in fur. She leaped backward, surprised by how much strength was in her back legs. Sora smiled upon the forest, shafts of silvery moonlight danced across the trees. She was a wolf.
