Autumn And I? Together?

It was 10:15. My teacher was teaching us how to count to ten. "What comes after one?" She asked, sweeping her eyes over the kids. I rolled my eyes and raised my hand. "Sora?" She called on me. "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten." She looked surprised. "You know how to count?" I nodded vigorously. Every kid in my class stared at me. Jake was smiling. I saw Autumn in wolf form outside, watching me. I looked at him, and felt warmth flow through my stomach. Autumn smiled at me. Lunch was in fifteen minutes. "Class, choose a partner, and start writing down all the math equations you know." I knew this. Math! My favorite! "Sora, want to work together?" I took Jake over to a table where no one else was sitting. "What are we gonna do with Galactical?" He asked. "We have to get her to prove herself." I remembered a dreadful moment from my old life. Why did it happen? I had been ten when I did it. I had accidentally hurt somebody, an innocent person. I didn't have control of my powers back then. I had changed into Sky to practice with Jake in wolf form, we had been working on fighting. A little girl by the name of Chelsea had wandered into the yard, and my wolf self had taken me over, and I'd bitten the girls leg. She had to have it amputated. And it was all my fault. I had cried for weeks and not changed into Sky for almost three months. The memory faded. "Sora? Sora!" Jake had been calling my name. "Yes?" "Let's get started." We worked on math facts from that point on, steering clear of my memory. "5 multiplied by 500 is 2500." I said, writing it down. I was a good writer, and I had really good handwriting. I wrote pages of stories every day on Google Docs. Wild Wolves was one of my non fiction books. "AWOOOO!" A wolf howl sounded outside.  The teacher looked at me skeptically. I had to tell her. "Yes, I am Sky. Jake is Blake. We have to go. I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier." I changed into Sky and jumped out the window, Blake and Galactical at my heels. My teacher didn't move. "I KNEW IT!" She yelled, making the students jump. Some of them screamed. Jello and Autumn were outside, fighting. "NO! STOP!" I shoved Jello off of Autumn. Autumn had a huge bite mark on his side, and his muzzle was bleeding. Jello's chest fur was matted and bloody. My ears flattened on my head. Why is this happening? As I stood in between these two bloody wolves, I realized I had helped Autumn first. What was wrong with me?
