BLAM! Blue lightning shot out of my ring, searing a tree and making its bark turn black. "Uhhhh. I didn't do that." I said, walking away. Blake laughed as he walked over to inspect the tree. "Your burn was successful." He said, trying to be a scientist. Galactical came over to us. "MINE SHOOTS WHITE LIGHTING!" She barked. We chuckled at the terror in her tone. "It's for- what, exactly?" Autumn asked. "I have no idea." "I know what we can do with lighting that burns things!" Jello cried. "What?" We all asked. "We can- FIGURE SOMETHING OUT!" Everyone laughed. "Thanks Jello. So helpful of you." Galactical and Autumn walked off together to find a grove of trees that wasn't burned so they could practice on them. "Blake, let's go on the hill and try and hit trees from it!" Jello yipped, tail wagging. "Sure!" Blake and Jello ran to the hill. I stood near my burnt tree, wondering what other powers the rings might have. I decided to look into my ring.
I was swallowed up in a blue light. A ting coming from another era sounded like my ring hitting a rock. But that couldn't be. My ring was right here! It stood before me in all its glory. "Ring, please tell me, are there more powers yet to discover?" I was smaller than the ring, and in spite of that, I hated being small. "Yes." A booming voice thundered. The voice sounded kind, yet I knew I shouldn't trust it- whatever it was. "What kind of powers?" I asked. "Thousands more, water shooting out of your paws, fire, earth, air, controlling the weather- it goes on and on. But that is in the Emperor wolf Power Package. To upgrade to that is by defeating Connor and Slash in a full on brawl. Except, you and only one other wolf can fight them." I nodded respectfully. "I'll do it. I'll battle Connor, along with Slash, and I'll be fighting with Blake." "Good. Just remember, with more powers comes more responsibility." With that, I was thrown back into my world. The real world.
Lightning hit trees and exploded things in every direction. As I watched the green, orange, yellow, and white lighting hit a tree, I found myself thinking about the other powers. As the tree exploded and a large branch was launched in my direction, I thought about how I would tell Blake we needed to fight- and beat- Connor and Slash. As the tree whacked me in the head and knocked me out, I knew what I needed to do. "Sky! SKY! Are you alright?" Blake put his face close to mine. "Blake." I said in a rasp, hoarse voice. Dirt had gone down my throat. I whispered it in his ear. Blake pulled his head away and nodded. As the tree was taken off of me, I found myself trying to stand. I could, but I fell over. I had a splitting headache. As my friends were carrying me to the infirmary, I glanced at Blake's face. He seemed worried. But when I looked behind him I saw something else- a yellow wolf stood near where the tree had fallen, an orange stripe down his back. He was smiling.
Before I knew it, I had fainted.
