The empty sky flashed above us, clouds jutting out like white cotton balls.

Blake and I had flew into the town where the orphanage was last night. When we had gotten there, I'd noticed Connor walking down an empty street. He had turned to look at me, and then he'd flown away.

We were on the street where we had met the man who wouldn't let us stay at his house. "Ha ha!" Blake and I quickly looked up at the clear, blue sky. Three wolf pups were flying around in broad daylight, tackling each other mid air. Weren't they worried to be caught?

Blake knew what was happening next. "Sky! Help them!" Blake and I flew at the pups and knocked them away from what the villagers were shooting. Before I knew it, Blake had been caught in a net. As soon as it dropped over him Blake fell asleep.

"You pups, fly home!" The three wolf pups flew toward Flame's town. "Blake..." I bit the roped net. "This net can never be broken!" "I've heard that before." I flew higher into the sky, then spiraled down onto the net.

It snapped in half. The man screamed and dropped his rope. Blake fell out of the net, and I flew to catch him. After Blake was on the ground, he came to.  "Are you alright?" I asked. "Yes, I'm fine. But our priority is to find Connor." I nodded as Blake shook the dirt off him. He'd been lying in the street.

We ran off together, and saw Connor. He walked toward us. "Hey. I know you're Sky and you're Blake."

"And we know your name is Connor." I sat down. Connor sat down as well. Blake shifted uncomfortably. "I'm going back to Flame's town." He whispered in my ear. I nodded.

I didn't watch as Blake flew away. Instead, I stared at Connor.

Connor stared me in the eyes, until I shook my head. I bared my teeth at him. Connor growled right back. "You know what?" I barked, standing up. "I'm done. Good day." I readied my wings. "You're lucky Slash wasn't here." Connor spat as I flew upward. I didn't ask why he'd spoken that way, or why he said that. I had no idea what Connor meant by that, but I felt like if I asked him about it, he'd get angry and probably fight me. It just wasn't the right time.

"Blake!" I called, straining my wings to go faster. Blake was landing next to Autumn, who held an orange ring in his hand. I noticed Galactical, Jello and Kya hadn't reverted to human form. Galactical was holding a black ring, Jello had a green ring, and Kya was holding a yellow ring.

Blake was handed a very light blue ring. "Wow, you guys found your rings." I said. "Yes, we have. Have you found yours?" Kya asked. "Galactical, lets use the ring powers!" Jello exclaimed. Galactical and Jello ran off into the woods. Autumn nudged Blake.

"Yes, I found my ring a while ago, in town. The first time I went with Blake I'd found it. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about it." "Its alright. Does yours have any powers?" Autumn asked sincerely. "Yes, it made my fur the way it is." I stared at my markings. "Let's go see if there are new powers!" Kya yelled, and we all ran to the woods, to figure out the rings new powers.
