CHAPTER 7

I woke up this morning in a good mood, which is rare. I got up and took my shower, got dressed and went downstairs to do my lunch and eat breakfast before leaving. Just like every other morning, Cam comes downstairs and we talk a bit and then I leave the house and head to school. I get to school and everyone is screaming and talking loud in the hallways because today is Friday. Everyone is always excited and crazy on Fridays. I go to my locker and put my bag and lunch in it. The bell rings and I get out my books and go to class. I walk in and I see the boys they are all sitting in the back, pretty much like in every other class. I smile at them and walk towards them but someone steps in front of me and blocks my path. I look up and it's Luke. Great...

"Hey! Where were you last night? I called and texted a million times, you never answered."

"I'm sorry, I was busy.. doing homework." I lied looking up at him, acting confident. But I was actually quite scared.

I sighed, glanced over at the boys and sat down. They showed a sad expression on their faces. I can't go see them now, Luke would be pissed and would start asking questions. When class started I took out a piece of paper and wrote: Meet me behind school at the end of the day. All of you. I folded it up and put in in my pocket.

Finally, the bell rang. The class felt like it was never going to end. I got up, took the paper out of my pocket. I saw Nash and the boys get up and start walking towards the front of the class room. Nash passed by my desk.

"Pssst." I whispered, so Luke wouldn't hear. He was talking to his friends.

Nash looked up at me as I got up off my chair. I grabbed his hand and stuffed the tinny paper in it and closed his hand. I gave him a smile and turned around to grab my books.

"Ok Luke can we go now. I wanna eat a snack."

"Well then go eat. I'm busy."

Ok then! God so rude.

I turned around and the boys were gone. I put my books in my locker and took out a snack and went to the cafeteria to find the girls.

"Hey girls! How's it going?"

"Great! Omg last night was so fun!" April said.

"Yah we need to do something like that again soon." Kenzi added.

"Yah, I gave the guys a note telling them to meet me behind school at the end of the day. Y'all want to come with me?"

"Ya duh!" Mia exclaimed.

"Why do you want them to meet you after school?" Lily asked.

"Because I couldn't talk to them this morning in class because of Luke. He was all pissed because he was trying to reach me yesterday but I didn't text or call back. I lied and said I had homework. Can you imagine his reaction if he found out I was at another guys house, hanging out with other guys."

"What if he asks you today what you're doing after school. I mean it is Friday, he'll probably want to do something with you." Mia said.

"Ugh true... I'll say I'm going out for supper with my family."

The bell rings and we all get up and walk back to our lockers. Next class is science. Ugh. We walk in class and take our seats. During the class all the teacher did was talk about the human body and stuff. The bell rings once again and its now lunch time. Me and the girls sit at our usual table, I sit beside Luke and he sits with his guy friends and the girls sit next to me. I honestly don't want to sit with Luke right now. I want to hangout with the guys, they're way more funny, crazy, weird. Luke is boring. When he's with his friends he ignores me. I eat my sandwich in silence and the girls talk about random stuff, I don't know, I'm not paying attention.
