CHAPTER 17

"Luke." Nash spoke softly.

"What?! Luke? My ex?" My heart was beating and I was kind of mad. Why would Luke beat up Nash? He did nothing.

"Ya.." he glanced at the floor. I sighed.

"Why? What did he tell you when he called you over?" I wanted to know everything that happened that day.

"He said that I didn't follow his rules so I was going to deal with the concequences." He brushed his hair passing his fingers through it.

"What?... what was the rules?" I'm confused.

"Remember that day when he hit you with the volley ball? Well when I was trying to help you he pulled me aside and told me to stay away from you."

"Asshole." I mumbled. I'm pissed. Nash did nothing but yet Luke has to get into a fight with him.

"So how's your face? Is it any better? I mean I don't know what it used to look like but I'm sure it was bad.."

"What!? Are you saying I'm weak? That I can't beat him up?" He looked at me, his eyes darker then before.

"W-what? No, that's not what I said... I just thought it would be bad..."

"Just whatever, I need to go. My mom is probably waiting for me." He got up and walked to the front door. Great job Allison, he's pissed at you.

"K, well... thanks for telling me everything. I won't tell anyone, promise." I said opening the door for him. He stepped outside. He didn't say anything so I just closed the door.

Nash's POV:

"Not everything.." I whispered looking at the closed door. It makes me mad that I didn't get to tell her everything. And it makes me mad and embarrased to admit that I got beat up, that I couldn't defende myself. I need to start working out maybe. I walked home and ate supper with my family, then went to bed.

Monday:

I woke up and did my usual morning routine. I got dressed, fixed my hair, went downstairs, ate breakfast, my mom made my lunch, I played with Skylynn for a little bit and then headed to school on the school bus. I arrived at school and went to the cafeteria after I was done putting my book bag and lunch in my locker. I walked in and Matt, Taylor, Jack & Jack, Carter, Shawn and Aaron we sitting all together and beside them there was Mia, April and Lily. I walked over and sat down.

"Hey guys!" I cut everyones conversations. Everyone smiled and said hi back.

"So did you speak to Alli yet?" Mia asked.

"Yah I did, Friday night. I explained everything... well almost." I mumbled at the end of my sentence.

"What did she do? What was her reaction?" Lily asked impatiently.

"Well she asked alot of questions and she looked scared."

"Yah because she cares about you Nash." Kenzi smiled. I smiled back.

The bell rang and we went off to class. I walked in and saw Alli sitting at her place already. The girls walked to her desk and they started talking. I sat down at the back of the class, at my usual place. When the bell rang for the second time, everyone sat down at their places. Alli turned around and I was already looking at her. She smiled shyly and I returned one...

First period over, 3 to go. Me and the boys went to our lockers and I got myself a snack and we waited for the girls at their lockers. Their lockers were all place beside each other.

"What are you guys doing?" Lily asked giggling.

"We're waiting for you guys 'cause that's what friends do." Jack Gilinsky responded confedently and the girls looked at eachother and they all had smiled on their faces and they giggled a bit too. Arrived at the cafeteria, we all sat down at a table. Mia and Matt were sitting beside eachother, Carter and Kenzi, Aaron and Lily were sitting beside eachother too. It was cute how everyone was becomeing less shy around each other. I sat infront of Shawn, Taylor sat beside Shawn, and Jack J and Jack G sat infront of each other. I looked beside me and there was an empty seat.

"Hey!! I feel left out. There's no one sitting beside me." I pretended to pout.

"I can take that seat, if you don't mind." Alli giggled pointing down at the stool next to me.

"No, no go ahead, sit." I smiled.
