Irresistible // Nash Grier

CHAPTER 14

I ran but I didn't know where I was going nor where to go. I felt so alone and lost. I ran and ended up in a park nearby. I sat down on a bench and put my bag next to me. It was getting dark out, and it was getting cold and all I had was Cam's sweater. I opened my bag and checked if I had anything else to put on but I didn't.  I put my arms around myself to keep myself warm and breathed in his scent. It had never ended up this bad before. I had never ran away from home because of an arguement. I don't hate Cameron, it's my dad, he didn't have to get into our business. I should probably text Cam.

-To Cameron:

I'm sorry for leaving, I'll be back soon, I just couldn't deal with it. Please forgive me.

I put my phone in my bag and sighed. I'm scared. Where am I going to sleep tonight? I hope I don't have to sleep outside like a homeless person. It's scary out here. I tried to think of some places I could go to for the night. Mia's? April? Kenzi? Lily? No they'll ask a million questions. Nash? Nope. Ouhh how about Shawn! I mean I already met his family. I don't have his number so I can't text him so I'll have to walk to his house and hope for the best. I picked up my bag and tossed it over my shoulders. Ok first thing I need to do is start at school so I can follow the same tracks as last time we went to Shawn's. I walked towards the school, it wasn't that far away. About a 10 minute walk. I finally got there and I started my way towards Shawn's. I really hope I can remember how to get there. Ok so at the light take a right, then two streets down take a left, then at the fifth stop sign turn right and his house should be on this road here. I walked along the side of the road looking both side to see the houses.

There it is!!! Yes! A smiled appeared on my lips as I ran towards the house not being able to control my excitement. I walked up the three little steps and arrived face to face with the door. What time is it anyways? Maybe they're all sleeping? I took out my phone from my bag and it was 9:00 o'cklock. I should try knocking and see if they are awake.

*knock knock knock*

No answer. I knocked again and waited... still no answer. I turned around and looked at the drive way, no car. Fudge! I looked to my right and there was this little swinging bench. I walked over and sat on it. Maybe I'll wait here until they get back. Can we do that? Is that like even legal? Whatever. I laid down and put my bag on the end so I could use it as a pillow. I laid my head and closed my eyes.

"Hey, Alli. Alli? Alli, wake up." Omg yes he's here. I sat up and hugged Shawn.

"Alli? What are you doing here? It's almost 10:30."

"Well I need a place to stay over night...Would you mind if I slept over? I can take the couch, I can even sleep on the floor if that's what you want." Shawn look over at his parents asking if I could stay and they nodded.

"Ohmygod thank you so very much Mr. and Mrs. Mendes. I won't be a bother, I promise." I hugged them. They probably thought I was psycho but whatever, I was happy. They unlocked the door and we all walked inside.

"I'm going to go place Alli in the guest bedroom." Shawn said to his parents. We walked upstairs and he opened the door to the room. I walked in and it was cute. It was very homey. I put my bag on the bed and sat down.

"So why'd you come here anyways?"

"I just kinda lost it. Cameron asked about Nash and I flipped out, then my dad got into it and so I just ran away." I was looking down playing with my fingers.

"What did he say about Nash?". I sighed.

"He asked if he was at school today. But since Wednesday I've haven't seen or heard from him. I was just a bit pissed off because it seems like everyone knows something that I don't know." I looked up at Shawn, he had his hand on the back of his neck. Busted.

"You know what happened to him, don't you?" I said leaning forward.

"Ya but... I shouldn't be the one to tell you, Nash should."

"But what don't you guys get. He's AVOIDING me! He won't respond to my text and he's not at school so I don't know what to do anymore."

"Maybe he's doing it for your own good."

"And what is that supposed to mean?"

"Some things are better off unsaid." I could tell by his facial expression he felt bad for me. I sighed and got up off the bed.

"Ok well I'm going to go to bed now, good night." I said pushing him out if the room and closing the door. I walked back to the bed and got my large t-shirt, it's Cameron's, and a pair of leggings and I changed into them. I pulled back the covers and slid in bed. I stared at the ceiling and tossed and turned. I couldn't sleep. I checked my phone and it was 2:30 am. I'm going to be a mess tomorrow at school. I put my phone on the night stand and turned around bringing the covers up to my neck and I tried to make myself comfortable.

Shawn's POV:

Damn, I feel so bad for not telling Alli what really happened to Nash. All us boys know because Cameron told us. She pushed me out of the room when I said things are better off unsaid so I'm guessing she's mad. Why is this so complicated? I got up off my bed and headed downstairs. Today is Friday finally. I sat down at the island in the kitchen and my mom was making me and Aaliyah's lunch.

"Goodmorning!"

"Morning!" I resonded.

"So do you know if Alli's awake?"

"Uh no, I'll go check." I walked upstairs and went to her room. I put my ear against the door to see if I could hear anything. I could hear her slow and soft breathing. Yah she's sleeping. I don't think I should wake her up. She probably had a tough night. I went back downstairs and went to the kitchen.

"Yah she's still sleeping, but I think she should stay home today, she probably had a tough night." I said going to the pantry to get myself some cereals. I did my daily morning routine and went out to the bus. I got to school and walked to the cafeteria. I spotted Taylor's orange bandana and then everyone else. When I got closer I saw Nash.

Another update!!! Hhaah I know how some of you are anxious and excited to see what's going to happen. So I tried to make it quick. I barly have homework this week, YAY! But I have a Math final Wednesday  (pray for me) :P Anyways, enough with my life. I hope you guys enjoyed and don't be afraid to comment what y'all think is going to happen next.
