So, of course in very good form, we started walking in a straight line to Pan's camp. The brush felt thicker and thicker as we continued. Fresh dew lined most of the foliage which happened to make life a bit more annoying for us-Regina especially. The ground was wet, we were covered in mud. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't focus. I started my life-long issue of thinking too much. The more I thought about it, the worse my situation got.

I can't go off on my own to try and talk myself into the right thing, because he'll show up and talk me out of it. The more I look at the Charming family the more I wanted to just end it all. I've never considered him this way, but I think Hook is the only anchor I have right now. Still, it gets harder and harder as time goes on. There has to be another way.

"Hey, need a break?" David asked his wife.

"No, I'm good," was the reply.

"Really? You know in this heat you shouldn't overtax yourself."

"Oh, so you need a break?" Snow concluded.

"No, no I'm good," he recovered.

"David Nolan let himself go," She teased.

"Does it look like he let himself go?" Okay, no, I'm done listening to that.

Regina saved us all, "How much further?" she said, trying--and failing--to avoid leaves smacking her in the face. It was honestly kind of funny.

"We should be getting close to Pan's lair. We're going in a straight line course," Emma pulled out her map, "Son of a-How is he now behind us?"

Snow turned around, "How can that be?"

"You got us lost," the Queen complained.

"Is your first instinct always to blame?" I asked. Her expression was subtle, but it was enough to tell me that at least annoyed her. It's not like it wasn't a genuine question.

Hook cut in before we could get into another fight, "No, she didn't. It's the camp-Pan's moving it."

"He's got a playing trait on his soul," David said. Whatever that meant.

"If the camp keeps moving, then how are we gonna get to Henry?" I asked. Everyone just kind of made eye contact with each other, not really having an answer to the question.

"I guess we just have to back track," Emma suggested.

So that's what we did. We started back down the path we came, walking through the same woods, passing the same brush. For a while, everything was good and silent. It was a nice change and would have been more welcome if I could be an idiot who never thought about anything. I guess everything about me is a curse.

The marker on the map seemed to move incessantly, mocking us at every turn. I wanted nothing more than for this to be over, but it doesn't look like the cards are in our favor. It's hard to fight a demon on your own turf, let alone his where he makes and breaks the rules. Everyone was getting increasingly more and more frustrated. What little team dynamic we had was failing. I wanted to punch a tree.

"So this track was all for nothing?" Emma asked. Somewhere along the way, we'd ended up following Hook through the forest.

"I told you it was idiotic. I suggest we use magic," Regina suggested, "we can materialize in the camp and grab Henry."

"That's dumb," I muttered.

"Oh, like your idea worked?"

"At least if mine failed I would only be risking myself," I clapped back.

Hook interrupted before we could whip out the wands and throw around some hexes, "Pan'll have shields against magic, I fear. Such an attempt would end in your death and more importantly: mine. That's why we are walking."
