Chapter 02 – Options

It was close to six in the evening when for the second time that day I had to carefully choose my dress for the night ahead of me.

The first being the carefully chosen blue dress I had on right now. It was a simple blue dress at first glance. My reasoning for wearing it lay in the fact that with the buttons on the front it was the easiest to take off.

A few hours ago I had worn the dress with an entirely different plan in mind. At midday I had everything ready for my new plan. I had made sure no one was going to be home for hours and I had already made the call to Astro asking to see him again.

Astro never gave me an address I could meet him at and always made sure he was the one visiting me and not the other way around. Knowing him, there was probably a reason behind that but I couldn't think of anything, not that I was in any place to complain.

I had taken one last look in the mirror before heading out of the room I shared with my sister to answer the impatient knock on my door that signified his arrival.

**** A few hours ago at mid day ****

My blood ran cold in my veins when I heard the knock on the door. It was time. I stood up and ran a shaky hand through my hair as I made my way towards the door. My heart was going crazy in my chest with anxiety at what awaited me on the other side. I opened the door expecting the worse and I was not disappointed.

"Astro," I greeted with a breathless gasp from running to get the door. "Sorry I was in my room" He nodded to acknowledge my excuse for being late to open the door but his dissatisfaction was clear on his face

"What had you making all the fuss this morning wanting to see me again?" he said impatiently. "I hope you understand that I am missing two very important meetings just to make this visit." It was on the tip of my tongue to say that he could save him all that trouble by telling me where to find him but his next words had me tongue tide with fear and desperation. "I hope you have the money. For all the trouble you caused me I'm brining the deadline a day ahead and making tonight the last day."

I tried to gulp in some air while I felt like the room was suddenly running out of air at the fury on his face. He was pissed but there was victory there on his face too. He knew damn well that I didn't have the money, the bastard.

I stiffened my spine with effort and held my head high, trying to put up a brave front while my hands shook and my legs felt weak. "You can't do that," I tried to sound confident. "I need more time." In my haste to not show any weakness my words came out sounding harsh and it only seemed to piss him off even more. Bad move, I cursed myself but my nerves were taking over.

"Bitch! I can and I will!" he shouted. "Be glad I'm not killing you this second." His anger only seemed to rise with every second in my company and this couldn't go any worse. "But your time is well and truly up. You either pay up by tonight or I will have you and your fucking sister. It's a very sweet deal for me, so I'm all for it." His face changed to a lustful smirk at his last words and I was so close to smacking him in the face. But I was no fool, he had three other men to protect him, not to mention he alone would have been a loosing battle for me.

I closed my eyes shut, taking a few calming breaths. It had been worth giving a shot, asking for more time but I had already known it would come to this. That was the reason I had taken so much care to plan all this.

I walked to the table and picked up the cheque Suho gave me this morning once I agreed to spend the evening with Kai. Fearing I would change my mind, Suho had immediately given me the cheque that morning. It had helped me decide my next move with Astro.
