Chapter 16 – Betrayal

Rian questioning me when I asked her to get out of the club but my eyes must have been pleading with hers because she gave a reluctant nod and walked to Sehun, giving Kai a wide berth. Sehun looked uncertain for a while but then Rian told him something that must have convince him because with a nod my way he stood up to leave.

Once they were out of sight, I took breath to brace myself and walked to Kai. Taking the seat next to him that Sehun had just vacated.

"Any special reason? Or are you just feeling like ruining yourself a whole lot today?" I asked pointing to the small bag with the drugs. I was glad he hadn't made any move to sniff it yet. I was probably going to freak if he did.

"Not at your job today?" His tone was mocking and by the way how steady his voice was he was stone cold sober, which made this that much worse because I wouldn't have his drunkenness to excuse his behaviour.

"Apparently you wanted me here." I shrugged and he laughed.

"Like I would ever want you." His words were cruel and I would be a liar if I said that they didn't get to me, especially when he made no effort to keep his voice down. Earning a few chuckles at my expense.

He kept me sitting there quietly for about another fifteen more minutes while he made out with the girl who came and sat on his lap. I felt my stomach turn at the sight. On the inside, my heart was cracking beyond repair but I kept my expression blank.

Finally I let out a sigh of relief when he let go of that girl but it didn't last because with his next few words he killed the last bit of hope I had been holding out for us.

"See that guy there?" He asked nodding at the table at the end of the room to our right. "He's been photographing me all night." His eyes turned to mine, his smirk glazed with a cruel streak. "I want those photo's." He said then leaned closer and whispered, "by any means necessary."

"Any means?" I asked feeling a little choked.

His only answer was a telling look down my body but it told me enough without him having to speak up.

I was wearing an old loose t-shirt and jean, nothing impressive but I knew what he wanted me to do.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked because I had to but he never answered me.

"I want to see you in action, so show me how much of a whore you can be." His words were a breathy whisper but they managed to make me flinch. There was not even a hint of regret in his eyes.

"You're going to regret this." I warned but stood up to do his bidding anyway.

I didn't have to say anything, instead I was trying to do my best to hold in the tears and focusing on the anger I was feeling, ignoring the other weaker emotions.

The asshole didn't deserve my broken heart. This was a good opportunity to leave my foolish feelings behind.

"Hi ~." I said smiling at the guy with the camera, taking the seat next to him. "My names Jade. I hope you don't mind me sitting here?" I asked doing my best expression of interest. He looked mildly interested, until he took one look at my old t-shirt and jeans combo and dismissed me instantly. I gave a resigned sigh. So much for subtlety, there was nothing but the honest truth now. "Listen, I need the photos on your camera. I have no money to pay but you have two options me naked in front of you, look but don't touch or a blowjob. What's you choice?" I asked because sex as always was not on the menu, not even when I owed it to Kai.
