It been almost half an hour and I was still considering of a way to approach Kai. If I spent any more time like this, I was never going to get anywhere near him before the end of tonight. As it was, anytime now, he could just get up and leave.

A guy approached me, momentarily pulling my attention away from Kai.

"Can I buy you a drink?" he asked with a flirty grin.

He looked vaguely familiar but I couldn't put a name to his face but I had seen him talking to Kai earlier which meant he could be another famous idol or .. Could he be another member of Exo? No, I didn't think so. Even though I didn't have all their names memorized, at least I would be able to recognize most of them by appearance. But the guy did have an uncanny resemblance to Kai though, which had me thinking, could they be related?

Great, the last thing I needed right now was to be explaining myself to Kai in the presence of his brother. Did he even have any brothers? Shit! I wished I did some research before coming here but I hadn't exactly had much time. I was so unprepared.

"Sorry, I'm not drinking tonight." I replied with an apologetic smile, not wanting to be unnecessarily rude.

"How about a dance then?" he was persistent but it wasn't the annoying kind and he kept his distance, which wasn't always the case. Nonetheless I could do without his attention on me right now. I watched over his shoulder and saw that the one guy who I did need the attention of was now licking a streak of salt off of a girl's cleavage and sucking on the slice of lemon stuck between her pressed up breasts.

Too late, I realized, I had been caught staring.

"Him?" The guys next to me chuckled, drawing my attention back to him. "Should have guessed," he muttered, turning around to look at Kai and then me.

"You know each other?" I pried sensing a way in to getting closer to Kai.

His only reply was a shrug.

What's that supposed to mean?

"See that door there?" he asked me, waving to get the attention of the guy standing in front of the door a few feet away in the corner of this floor. I wasn't sure whether he was a guard or a bouncer because the guy was wearing a black suit. Did VIP lounge bouncers wear suits here? It was a possibility.

"Go through that door and Kai will meet you there." He said while pointing at me and gesturing something to the guy at the doors, which I thought probably meant that I am allowed to go through those doors.

Well, that answered my question about whether he knew Kai or not. I looked over his shoulder, my eye's landed straight on Kai and jolted with surprise when I realized his eyes were on me. Now he looked anything but annoyed and sad, he looked suspicious and angry. Oh this night was turning out so well. Not.

What I couldn't figure out was, if he noticed me already why send this other guy?

People thought only girls had a flair for the dramatics and liked playing games but they were so freaking wrong, guys were just as bad. The difference was that, only working girl like me got to see this despicable side of them, while the rest of the world remained ignorant.

I nodded at Kai to let him know I got his message and tilted my head towards the door to let him know to move his ass now instead of making me wait until he finished all the shots lined up in front of him and all the salt and lemon on the cleavages around.
