My Protector ❤️

Dinah watched carefully from her seat as Lauren interacted with her fans. The way the meet and greet was set up had the girls split. Three girls on one side of the room, two on the other. Of course, to boost press, they placed 'Camren' on one side, and Normani, Ally, and Dinah on the other side. This way, the fans were in able to form multiple lines and not just one big one.

The meet and greet was private for a couple dozen contest winners, so there wasn't many people there. Excited fan girls and boys were squealing as they got to meet their role models, but Dinah couldn't help but to feel uneasy about having her girlfriend so far away from her with a bunch of people that she didn't know in the room.

Dinah was protective and very possessive of Lauren. Lauren was her soul mate, and that meant that it was Dinah's job to make sure her girl was okay. Dinah knew that some of Lauren's fans were really intense, and it scared her to not be close to her girlfriend. It was giving her anxiety.

"OMG, DINAH!" A fan cheered as was trotted over to Dinah's table. She was decked out in 5H gear, and that made Dinah smile. They had the best fans in the world.

"Hey, girl!" Dinah stood and wrapped the fan in a hug.

"It's so nice to meet you! I cannot believe this! I've been a fan since you guys were on the X Factor and you were always my favorite." The fan gushed.

"Awe, that means so much!"

"I'm so happy that you guys are living your dream, and I'm so happy for you and Lauren! You two are so much cuter than 'Camren'! Make sure you tell Lauren that Laurinah is endgame!"

"I'll be sure to tell her, dawg." Dinah laughed. This fan was too adorable.

The fan began waving at her tearing eyes. "OMG, I'm going to cry."

"Don't cry!" Dinah stood again and hugged the blubbering fan. Over the fan's shoulder she caught sight of Lauren who was giving her an 'awe' look, and Dinah's heart skipped a beat. Dinah broke the hug and sat back down to sign a picture for the girl.

"Okay, what's your name?"

"I'm Jennifer."

"It was really nice to meet you, Jennifer. Are you going to come to the concert next week?" Jennifer's head bobbed up and down quickly. "Alright, I'll see you there."

"You so will!" Jennifer squealed as Dinah signed her picture and sent her on her way. Once Dinah could see Lauren again, she noticed that there was a guy around 18 years old in front of her. She could see that Lauren's face was clearly annoyed, and it made Dinah's blood boil. Camila sent her a look that told her that the guy was getting on her nerves as well.

"Normani, I'll be right back." Dinah told her girl to her left.

"Dinah, just wait until Lauren says she needs you. She can handle herself." Normani reminded. Dinah took a deep breath and sat back down. She knew that Lauren was more than able to hold her own, but it was when the guy started raising his voice that Dinah lost it.

"You're such a whore!" The guy shouted. Dinah was instantly by Lauren's side.

"Hey, you better shut the fuck up, man!" Dinah shot back. She pulled Lauren so that she was standing behind her, out of harms way.

"Why don't you sit the fuck down? No one was talking to you! I was talking to that whore over there." The man shouted. Dinah was fuming at his words.

"Don't talk about her that way!" Dinah shouted back. Camila and Ally turned to comfort and tearing Lauren, while Normani tried to get Dinah to calm down. She didn't want Dinah to kill this guy.

"She thinks she's too good for me? Just because she's famous? No one rejects me!" The man shouted as security took him away. "No good, whore." Was the last thing he managed before he was out of the room.

Dinah turned to Normani who was asking her if she okay. She nodded and walked back to her girlfriend who was being comforted by her best friends. She pulled the beautiful green eyed girl into her arms and hugged her tightly.

"Are you okay, baby?" Dinah whispered softly. The girls turned back to the fans, letting the couple have their moment.

Lauren pulled back and looked into Dinah's eyes. "Yeah, I'm fine." She sniffled and Dinah wiped a tear that fell down her cheek.

"Please don't listen to him. You're not any of those things." Dinah said softly.

"I know." Lauren gave a little smile. "He just scared me is all."

Dinah placed kisses all over Lauren's face, and Lauren relaxed in Dinah's arms. A few fans watched in awe of the couple, while the others wanted to give them some privacy.

"I love you." Dinah whispered to the smaller girl.

"I love you, too." Lauren smiled. "My protector."
