Lauren pulled Ally close to her body as they walked out of the restaurant where they had just celebrated their latest anniversary. The outside of the restaurant was surrounded by paparazzi and they were eager to get any picture they could.

"Lauren! Ally! Can we see a kiss?"

"How long have you two been together?"

"Ally, what's the sex like?"

"Lauren, were you two dating before you were legal?"

"Ally! What was it like dating a minor?"

All the questions made both girls roll their eyes. Why were they so annoying? Ally and Lauren continued to walk to Lauren's car. Lauren made sure that she was placed between the men and her girlfriend, but one of the men ran around to Ally's side.

"Hey, stay away from her." Lauren pulled Ally closer to her. "Don't go near my girlfriend."

"Oh? Is this your body guard?" The man got closer and Lauren glared at him.

"I'm giving you five seconds." Lauren warned. "I swear, I'll call the police. Back. The. Fuck. Up."

The man took the hint and moved back on the other side of Lauren. Ally gave Lauren a worried look, knowing her girlfriend had a short temper. They finally reached the car and Lauren walked Ally to her side and pulled the door open. Just as Ally was about to climb into the car, one of the men tried to come in for a closer picture when he accidently elbowed Ally in the face.

"Ouch!" Ally yelped.

Lauren grabbed the man by his shirt and threw him against the car. "What the fuck is wrong with you?"

"It was an accident." The poor man looked terrified. Lauren looked over at Ally and saw that her eye was swelling slightly. It only fueled Lauren's fire.

"I told you to stay away." Lauren growled.

Ally touched Lauren's arm to tell her to calm down before she did something that would get her in serious trouble. "Babe, let's just go."

Lauren released the man and flung him off the car. She made sure that Ally was in the car and closed the door before walking around to the driver's side. The flashes of the camera made it a little difficult to see, but she pushed through.

As she started the car, she sparred another glance at her girlfriend whose eye was swelling even worse. Lauren pulled out of the parking lot, careful not to hit anyone. She grabbed Ally's hand and brought it to her mouth to place a kiss there.

"I'm so sorry you got hurt, baby."

"It's alright." Ally smiled sadly. "It's gonna suck hiding a black eye tomorrow."

Lauren's anger returned knowing that her girlfriend was going to have a mark on her perfect face. The nerve of that guy to hurt her Ally. She could kill the poor bastard. Her hand gripped the steering wheel until her knuckles were white.

"Lauren, calm down." Ally pleaded.

"I can't! He hurt you. I don't like when things hurt you." She replied through her teeth. She kissed Ally's hand again.

The rest of the car ride was quiet and calming. By the time they got back to their apartment, Lauren seemed to calm down tremendously. She went around to Ally's side just as the girl had gotten out of the car and grabbed her hand. They walked up to their apartment just as silently as they had driven.

When they were safely in the house, Lauren threw her keys on the table, grabbed Ally's hand, and walked them to the kitchen. Lauren let go of Ally's hand when they got there and lifted the small girl onto the counter before grabbing a small rag from the drawer next to the stove. She went to the freezer and pressed the lever until a few pieces of ice fell into the rag. Cupping it like a bag, she walked back to Ally.

"Let me see." Lauren examined Ally's eyes and frowned when she saw that it was bruising quickly. That guy must've really hit her hard. Lauren leaned up and left feather light kisses all over Ally's face.

"I'm so sorry that this happened to you, baby. I wish it would've been me." Lauren whispered. She brought the rag up to Ally's eye and held it there.

"Don't say that. It was sudden and most likely an accident. It's okay." Ally gave Lauren a smile. "And I didn't cry." Ally stated, proud of herself.

"You didn't." Lauren nodded.

"Now, can we finish celebrating our anniversary?" Ally smirked. Lauren grabbed Ally's hand and made her hold the ice back while she lifted her bridal style to their bedroom. Ally squealed the entire way there.
