"There's nothing more painful then a damn black eye," Lauren Jauregui muttered to herself as she winced, dragging her makeup pad over the bruise under her eye before sighing as she examined her work.

The brunette frowned as she saw the underline purple still shining through under the multiple layers she had already spread across her face; it seemed like no matter how much makeup she put on, the evidence wouldn't wash away.

"You think after all the bruises I've covered that I'd be a pro at this," Lauren whispered as she leaned back over the sink continuing her handy work as she tilted her head before finally smiling. "There we go."

"Talking to yourself, Lo?"

Lauren jumped and instantly tensed as she glanced into the mirror and stared at Dinah Jane, the taller girl leaning against the doorway of the bathroom as she watched her bandmate with a small smile on her face.

"Yeah, not that it's any of your business." Lauren snapped as she threw her makeup back in her bag before zipping it closed as she turned to face the younger girl. "I thought you and the girls went out to eat."

"I thought you and Ben were supposed to be spending time together," Dinah shot back with a frown on her face as she crossed her arms over her chest. "I just saw him storming out of the hotel. Is everything okay?"

"Everything's fine," Lauren replied without a moment of hesitation, a forced smile creeping onto her face as she swallowed hard. "I'm going to go to bed, it's been a long night and I'm about to drop."

Dinah hummed in acknowledgement as she stepped away from the door watching the way Lauren ducked her head before hurrying past her, the younger girl narrowing her eyes as she watched her bandmate go.

"Hey Lo," Dinah called watching as the sixteen-year-old paused a few feet away before glancing over her shoulder, her body once again tensing as she clinched her jaw. "You're beautiful."

A small smile spread across Lauren's face, "Thanks."

"Fuck." Lauren hissed as she squeezed her eyes shut, pushing the tissue harder against the cut on her hip as she pinched her lower lip in between her teeth to keep from crying out. "Oh my God, this hurts."

Drawing the tissue away, Lauren stared down at the deep gash that had been left from the impact of the glass the brunette had slammed into; Lauren knew she needed stitches, but there was no way she could let anyone know.

There was no way she could tell people about the bruises that lined her sides, she couldn't allow people to see the cuts that were scattered around her body, and she could never let people know her perfect boyfriend wasn't so perfect.

"Lo, are you in there?"

Lauren jumped and gasped as she pressed too hard on the cut, the brunette reaching out with shaking hands to grab the gauze she had bought before carefully taping it over the gash and quickly tossing out the bloody tissues.

"Uh yeah, I'm almost done." Lauren replied as she cleared her throat, flashing a quick glance to herself in the mirror as she mused her hair before forcing yet another smile onto her face as she turned to open the door. "Sorry about that."

"What were you doing in there?" Camila asked as she tilted her head, brushing past Lauren to move towards the mirror before freezing as she shot a quick glance to the nearby trashcan full of tissues. "What happened?"

"I uh I ran into something earlier," Lauren shrugged with a quick glance to the tissues, swallowing hard around the lump that grew in her throat as she struggled to hold back tears. "Anyway, where are the rest of the girls? I'm bored."
