"Lauren, I'm freaking out..." Dinah breathed from the corner of the packed dressing room. They were currently getting ready for their performance for Pitbull in New York city, and Dinah had just sent out a SnapChat that would change a lot about their lives.

"Why?" Lauren furrowed her brows, not looking at the girl as the makeup team put on her face.

"Because what happens if they freak out?" Dinah took a deep breath. "Like, you know how the fans get."

"I don't think it should be a problem, DJ." Lauren assured her.

"Me either." Alexis, one of the makeup team members, stated. "I mean, they l love you girls, and that's not going to change."

"Yeah, and plus it's about time we told them. It's been too long." Lauren smiled slightly, blindly reaching for Dinah's hand. Dinah intertwined their fingers together.

"It has been. Almost seven months."

"It's been that long?!" Ally gasped. "Oh my goodness, girls. You guys are so amazing, and I am so proud of you. I hope you know that." She smiled.

"Ally, you were there when I asked her to be my girlfriend..." Dinah trailed off with a deadpanned look.

"I know, but I barely remember how long it's been since I ate last. I can't keep up with all this romance!" Ally exclaimed.

"I know when your anniversary is!" Camila sang as she slid into the room. She only in her bra and skirt and there was a wardrobe member moving after her with an annoyed look on her face.

"Shut up, Mila." Normani grumbled from the corner where she was facetiming Masi. "I think they know when their anniversary is."

"Well, so do I!"

Normani went to reply to Camila's sassy remark just as Camila went to throw another sassy remark and it soon turned into a bickering match that was only silenced by the sound of Dinah's phone blowing up.

"Oh, boy..." Dinah sighed making Lauren tighten her grip on her hand. Dinah unlocked her phone and opened her twitter app.

Dinah couldn't help but giggle at her fans' reactions. "Everything okay?" Lauren asked causiously. This was a huge step for her and Dinah, but she wasn't really worried about the fans' reactions because she knew that most of the Harmonizers were in the same position. They had one of the largest gay fan bases in the world, and non-acceptance would just be hypocritical.

"Yeah. Most of them are really happy." Dinah beamed.

"I told you they would be." Lauren smiled. "And we're finally out. It feels fucking great."

There was another slew of notifications and Dinah immediately took to reading them.

"Oh my god." Dinah breathed.

"He is almighty." Ally sang before kissing her hand and lifting it to the ceiling.

"Hallelujah." Normani chimed in.

Lauren rolled her eyes in amusement at the other girls before glancing at Dinah's uneasy face. "What's wrong, DJ."

Dinah took a deep breath as her eyes filled with tears making Lauren immediately pull her face away from the makeup artist and push herself out of the chair. "What's wrong?"

Dinah showed Lauren the phone just as she burst into more tears. Lauren read over the tweets and rolled her eyes at one of the hashtags began trending. "Are they fucking serious right now?"

"What's going on?" Camila asked, moving to sit beside Dinah only to have her move away from the girl and stand up to stand behind Lauren. "Dinah?"

Lauren gave Camila a soft look. "Camz, everyone is asking if Dinah and I came out as a ploy to cover up Camren."

Camila's eyes widened at the information. She knew that Dinah hated hearing about Camren, as the couple was completely fictional. She had allowed the fans to fangirl with her as a defense strategy and they ultimate cover up by taking on the role as Captain of the ship, but in reality she got extremely jealous of any ship that Lauren was involved in that didn't involve herself.

"Please tell me that you're not getting upset about this, Cheechee. They're just a wild bunch." Camila stated with wide eyes.

"No, Camila, you don't understand. People are literally saying that my girlfriend is with you after I just came out to them, and I know that you two had that little fling back when we were on the X Factor."

"And? That was like almost three years ago." Camila defended.

"But people are still brining it up!"

"Guys, come on..." Lauren sighed. They had all gotten into far too many arguments about Camren and the last thing she wanted to do was let the title drive a wedge between Camila and Dinah or even Dinah and herself. She turned around to face Dinah who was still glaring at Camila over her shoulder with tears still welled in her eyes. . "Baby..."

"No, Lo, that's not fair! Whatever happened between us is ancient history, and yet she's blaming me for the fans acting like that? That's bullshit." Camila stated from behind the green eyed girl.

"Mila," Normani stated, moving to place a hand on Camila's forearm. The two girls had already caused enough of a scene without having it be a full blown fight. "Let's just move to another area and let everyone calm down, okay?"

"I think that's a really good idea." Ally nodded, putting a hand on Dinah's back. Normani grabbed Camila's arm and pulled her out of the dressing room while Lauren stayed with Dinah. She reached up and cupped Dinah's cheeks finally getting her attention.

"Baby, that wasn't fair." She whispered.

Dinah pulled her face out of Lauren's hand the instant the words came out. "Are you serious on her side right now?"

Ally's eyes widened as she moved back to the opposite side of the room to text Troy. Anything to get out of Dinah's war path.

"I'm not on anyone's side, Dinah. I'm just trying to make things right." Lauren shot back.

"No, Lauren. There is no making this right! You and I are together and everyone thinks this is a fucking cover up for Camren. How is that fair?"

"It's not, but it's not Camila's fault."

Dinah stopped for a minute to process before she realized that Lauren was right. It wasn't Camila's fault that the fans were reacting this way, but really her own. It was her fault for leading the Camren shippers to believe that there was actually something going on between the two women.

"I-I..." Dinah shook her head. "This is all so fucked up."

"Dinah, please just apologize..." Lauren pouted. "For me?"

Dinah rolled her eyes and huffed. "I hate when you're right and then make me do stuff to fix my wrongs."

"Well, I like it." Lauren beamed before standing on her tippytoes and pressing a kiss to Dinah's lips. "Go find Camila and tell her you're sorry."

And Dinah did just that.
