As the doorbell sounded through the apartment, Lauren rushed to answer it. She knew it was her girlfriend Normani, and she was ecstatic to get to see her after nearly three days of being away from each other.

Ever since Lauren had graduated high school and moved on to college, the couple hadn't gotten to see each other much. With Lauren's classes and all her hours at the autoshop and softball, Lauren was barely ever home, and with Normani's senior year in full swing and her dance rehearsals, she barely had time to think about getting to see Lauren.

The two talked on FaceTime every night, but it wasn't the same. Lauren, never having been a talker, had a hard time communicating through words instead of touches, but she made an extra effort to talk to Normani as much as she could. Living nearly 45 minutes away from each other made it really hard to be around each other physically, but they got to see each other at least twice a week, and that would have to work until Normani was able to move near her.

Swinging the door open to reveal her beautiful girlfriend of almost 3 years, Lauren immediately swept her into her arm and hugged her tightly. "Jesus fucking Christ, I missed you." The green eyed girl breathed into Normani's hair.

Normani, instead of replying, cupped the back of Lauren's neck with both hands and attached their lips together in a heated kiss. When they pulled away, she looked up into her favorite pair of eyes. "I miss you more. God, I missed touching you."

Lauren smiled and pulled Normani into the house before closing the door and leaning her up against it. Normani took the opportunity to look her girlfriend up and down. The younger girl eyed her girlfriend's sports-bra-clad body with lustful eyes. The large memorial tattoo that covered most of Lauren's left ribcage and hip was on full display, and Normani felt her self-control slipping away.

Lauren pulled away from the kiss with a groan. "We have to stop or else this is going to become something else." She stated, closing her eyes and resting her forehead against Normani's.

Normani giggled in amusement. "Can't control yourself, Lo?"

"No." Lauren shook her head, pulling away from Normani completely. "It's your time of the month, and I can't lose my self-control."

"How the hell do you know my cycle?" Normani scoffed, pushing herself off the door and making her way down the small hallway to the kitchen. If she wasn't getting any action, she might as well get some food.

Lauren followed after the girl with a deadpanned look. "Why wouldn't I? Do you remember who brought you McDonalds at 3 am 5 times a week every three weeks?"

Normani sent a loving smile over her shoulder as she pulled the fridge open. "And I was very grateful."

"Trust me, you've thanked me enough." Lauren smirked.

Normani ignored the innuendo and pulled out a half-eaten pie container. "Since when did you start eating chocolate mousse pie?"

Lauren rolled her eyes and hopped onto her counter nearest the sink. "Ever since you decided that I wasn't allowed to order any other kind of dessert just in case you finished yours and wanted more, I haven't really gotten over the way it tastes...and it reminds me of you."

Normani rolled her eyes, but felt her heart flutter. Lauren's undeniable charm still warmed her heart whether or not she wanted to show it. She reached over to her right side and pulled a fork out of the drawer before sauntering over to her girlfriend who was perched on the counter.

Lauren watched with loving eyes and Normani scooped some of the pie onto the fork and raised it to her own mouth before slowly sucking the chocolate off of the metal. She let out the smallest of moans at the taste, completely oblivious to Lauren's darkened gaze.
