 Lauren's POV

Just another day at Miami Prep. High School. Let me tell you something about Miami Prep. It's the most prestigious school in all of Florida, and only the brightest of students get in. That's why I'm here. I'm actually Miami Prep's best student, and I take pride in that.

If you went around my school asking random people who Lauren Jauregui was, they'd tell you in a heartbeat. Valedictorian, captain of the (Championship) Varsity softball team, prom queen, nice girl. Everyone knows me. It's a fact, but there is one thing that no one knows about me.

I'm dating my teacher.

Ms. Hernandez came to Miami Prep during my junior year as the Literature teacher for the seniors, and I was instantly intrigued. She was the most amazing thing I had ever laid eyes on. She came into my life like a shining light, and I've been captivated ever since.

It took the whole school year to get close enough to Ms. Hernandez, Ally, to tell her how I felt. At first, she denied her feelings for me. Telling me that I was confused and that she didn't feel the same, but that only lasted for about a month before she stormed into the locker room one day after my softball practice and kissed me roughly.

That was almost a year ago, and we're still together. Secretly, but still together.

It's almost the end of my senior year, and my life couldn't be going any better. 4.33 GPA, Valedictorian, captain of the softball team, full ride to Berkley (That Ally doesn't know about yet.), and I have the most beautiful woman in the world. I honestly couldn't ask for anymore.

I had just got out of softball practice, and noticed that I was almost 6. That meant that almost, if not all, of the students have left campus, and I could go see Ally. I walked to her classroom knowing that she was most likely grading papers or reading yet another book.

I knocked four times on her classroom door, our code, before walking into the room that held my beautiful girlfriend. She was sitting at her desk with her face buried in another book. I stepped into the classroom and closed the door behind me before locking it. Just in case.

"Whatcha reading?" I called out. Her head snapped up from the book and her eyes locked with mine. I smirked and walked towards the desk.

"The Crucible." Ally answered and gave her a weird look.

"Why are you reading that? Isn't that like sophomore curriculum for public school classes? You're an honors literature teacher."

"Yeah, but I still enjoy reading things that aren't meant for Miami's brightest." Ally smiled. "Not everyone can be a top student."

"How would you know? You graduated from here as well." I smirked back.

"Top of my class. Just like you." Ally giggled. I walked closer to Ally and placed a kiss in her lips. "Hi, by the way. Are we still on for dinner and a movie tonight?"

"Of course. It's our Friday night tradition." I hopped onto her desk and smiled down at her. Tonight was the night I was going tell her about Berkley. It's going to be hard to get out considering Berkley is in California, which is on the other side of the planet, but I need to tell her. I just hope she takes it well.

"How was practice?" She asked after a short nod.

I sighed. "It was really long, but on the bright side, I know we're going to win the championship game next week."

"That's awesome!" Ally cheered. "I'm so proud of you, baby."

I beamed at her words. "Thank you. Will you be there?"

"I wouldn't miss it for the world." She leaned up and kissed me again.

Have I mentioned how much I love my life?
