First Kiss

Dinah nervously waited as Lauren fished her hotel room key card out of her purse. They had just gotten back from what was now their third date, and Dinah wanted nothing more than to kiss the bright eyed girl.

"Ugh, where the hell is it?" Lauren demanded, furiously searching through her bag. Dinah used the time to gather her nerves in order to finally place her lips upon the glossy perfection that was Lauren's mouth.

"You know, you don't have to wait for me. I know you're probably tired." Lauren told the taller girl.

Dinah shook her head. "I'm not leaving you in this hallway by yourself. I'll wait until I can see that you're safely in your room."

Lauren smiled at the girl's words. "You're so protective."

"Can't help it." Dinah shrugged.

"Found it!" Lauren cheered, pulling the rectangular card out of her purse. "I knew I didn't lose it."

"Maybe you should carry a smaller purse?" Dinah hinted with a smirk.

"No, I need everything in here." Lauren rolled her eyes at the girl. She pushed the card into the small slot and smiled at the light changed from red to green. "So, I'm going to head to bed."

Dinah took a mental breath. It was now or never.

She reached over and grabbed Lauren's waist gently, pulling her body into her own and smirked at her stared into the girl's eyes. Lauren gasped, but it was swallowed as Dinah placed her lips gently over hers.

Their lips moved in sync. Effortlessly gliding across each other's with such ease and familiarity, almost like they had been doing it for years. Lauren let her hand reach up and cup Dinah's cheek, holding the girl to her mouth.

When Dinah felt the need for oxygen, she broke the kiss. She opened her eyes to look at Lauren, and smiled at the sight. Lauren's eyes were still closed and her lips still puckered, almost like she was in shock of the kiss. The green eyes opened after a few seconds, and she smiled.

"Wow." Lauren giggled. "If I'd known that you could kiss like that, I would've kissed you a while ago."

"I'm full of surprises." Dinah shrugged.

First Official Date

"I can't believe you actually said yes." Dinah muttered sleepily as she held an equally sleepy Lauren in her arms. All the girls had been in the studio for nearly 13 hours that day as they were working on their first album. Dinah had spent most of the day waiting for the perfect time to make Lauren hers officially.

When they returned back to the small apartment that all five girls were living in for the time being, Dinah couldn't wait any longer. She pulled Lauren into her and Camila's shared room and asked her the question that had been on her mind all day.

"Dinah, why are we in here? I'm starving." Lauren whined.

"I need to ask you something..." Dinah looked down at Lauren and ran her fingertips down Lauren's face lightly making the older girl shiver.

Lauren gave Dinah a worried look. "What is it?"

"You know how we've been on dates and stuff?"

Lauren chuckled. "Yeah?"

"Well, I was wondering if maybe you would want to go on dates with only me from now on?" Dinah gave a sheepish smile.

Lauren let out a cute giggle. "Are you asking me to be your girlfriend, Dinah?"

Dinah lowered her head. "Only if you want to." She muttered softly. Lauren placed a finger underneath Dinah's chin and lifted her head up so she could look into her eyes.
