People say that sometimes, you need to burn some bridges to create some distance.
But what would you do to cross them? What would you be motivated with?

Well, now you need to think of it literally.

You, Gordie, Chris, Teddy and Vern are on the search for the missing body of Ray Brower, and are facing a big problem.

In order to continue your journey, you need to cross a bridge, with nowhere else to go if a train comes along.

"Teddy, jumping below means jumping 100 feet."

"Well, it's pussy not to do it, alright?"

And unfortunately, we have more problem between the gang.

"Guys, guys," You say, holding your hands up in the air for silence, "Let's go over the tracks, it'll only save time. If we can't make it, we simply train dodge."

Teddy smiles knowingly at Chris, who countered him, and started walking on the tracks.

He turned around, and smiled gleefully, waving his hands in the air saying, "Look, Chris! Guess who's not gonna be a candy ass today! Whoo- hooo!"

Chris turns to look at you, and then walks forward behind Teddy. Vern follows suit, and gets on his hands and knees to get across.

Noticing Teddy's confused face, Vern simply says: "If I die, it's your fucking fault, all right?" ((oh, vern))

Then it's Gordie's turn. He looks at you and gestures for you to walk ahead of him.

"After you."

You smile and walk hurriedly, trying to urge Vern to go a little faster to save the lives of you and Gordie, who is slowly getting across, and stealing glances at you when your eyes meet his.

Eventually, Teddy and Chris make it across, waving to the three of you that have to get across.

You and Gordie end up talking to each other.

"Gordo, how do you feel?"

"To be honest with you, I'm fucking petrified."

You smile at him and put your arm around his shoulder. He tenses up and his face seems to be a light pink.

"We're almost there, don't-"

But right before you could even say 'worry', you hear a whistle from the train in the distance.

Gordie is stiff for four seconds before dropping down on his knees and feels the tracks for a signal.

His cry is what you thought would be the last thing you hear.

"TRAIN!!!"

This imagine was based on a scene from the movie, "Stand By Me." It is one of my favorite scenes, and to this day, I am not sure why.
