Chapter 8

  When the guards heard this, they got their swords out while the woman ran away. Just before they could hit Sora, she dodged their attacks. She smirked. Before they could react, she used her fists and punched them in the stomach, getting pushed in the wall. Not giving up, they launched after her. As they lifted their swords above their heads, thinking they could slice her, they smirked. 'This'll teach her to mess with us.'

"You know, two against one isn't fair, but then again, it's me we're talkin' 'bout." With that, Sora ignited both her fists with fire and punched them in the face. She smiled, but to anyone who looked at her face, it was scary. Sadly, the guards weren't letting a girl be a better fighter than them. (A/N: Boys and their ego, I'll never understand...) It would ruin their pride.

  Before they could even get close to her, she used 'Fire Dragon's Roar!' This sent them blasting off into the sky. (A/N: "We're blasting off agggaiiin!"~~~) When Sora looked behind her, she rubbed the back of her neck because Cayden and Masrur had their eyes wide.

  For Cayden, he still couldn't get over her power. Even if he's experienced it first hand, he couldn't believe how powerful she is. For Masrur, he has never seen a Fanalis this strong. He didn't even know Fanalis could wield. Though, he was starting to doubt she was a Fanalis.

  As for Sinbad and Ja'far, they were surprised. Even if they saw her fight in the colosseum, they still couldn't get over it. For Mystras, he jumped, almost stumbling into barrels, almost giving their hiding place away. 'Just where did this girl come from!?'

  Sora looked up to the sky to see it was dawn. She walked up to Cayden and Masrur, and poked their arms, snapping them out of their trance. "Cayden, I better get home." Looking at Masrur, she saw sadness written in his eyes. "Sorry, Masrur, but tomorrow, ya can tell me 'bout Fanalis!"

"Promise?" was all he said

"Promise!" With that, she ran in the direction of the forest.

  As for Masrur, he only walked to where Sinbad, Ja'far, and Mystras were. For Cayden, he waved goodbye to Masrur, smiling. Sadly, Sinbad wasn't giving up on getting Sora to help him on his goal. Before he could lose sight of Sora, he stalked her with the rest following him. 'There's no stopping him now.' Ja'far and Mystras thought, sighing.

  As Sora was walking toward home, she sensed people following her. Smirking, she turned a corner and jumped on the building before they could notice.

  Sinbad panicked. When he saw she turned in the corner, he looked in there. It was a dead end. 'There's no way she could've disappeared in the air!' Walking between the buildings, Masrur, Ja'far, and Mystras followed.

  Sora smirked. 'Idiots!' When she saw they were all in her trap, she was surprised to see Masrur there. 'Why's he here?!' Shaking her head, she jumped off the building and, quietly, stood in front of the exist. "Why are you guys followin' me?" She crossed her arms on her chest.
