Chapter 4

  Over the next few days, Sora had gotten much stronger. She finally transformed into her ultimate form, which surprised Igneel, and was a famous gladiator. No one could defeat her. As for Cayden, him and her were like brother and sister to each other.

  With Sinbad, it had been a few days since he freed the slaves from Madaura. As he and Ja'far were in town, they overheard a conversation between two men in a restaurant.

"I'm tellin' you. There's somethin' in that forest."

"Like what?"

"I don't know. It was huge, almost like a dragon."

"Maybe we should go check it out. It could get us rich."

  Interested, Sinbad walked over to them leaving Ja'far behind. "Excuse me. I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. Did you say you saw a dragon?" Just what Ja'far needed. Sinbad running off to get adventure. He walked over there to get him back before he did anything rash.

"Well Yeah." Before the man could say anything else, his friend interrupted him.

"Run along, kid. This ain't for ya to hear."

"I see. Can you at least tell me where you saw him and what he looks like?"

"Sure. In the forest with a clearing. You'll see it if ya just walk. He looks red with a scar."

  Before he could ask for more information, Ja'far interrupted him. "Thank you for that. Come. Along. Sin." Turning around, Sinbad saw a very annoyed Ja'far. Before he could react, Ja'far pulled him to get back to the others. He waved to the men.

"Ja'far, what was that for? We could've got more information out of them."

"I know what you're thinking. We are not going to get there."

"But-"

"No! Now lets go!"

  As they were walking, Sinbad bumped into someone. It was Sora. You see, after she was done with the battle at the colosseum, she was searching for Cayden. Looking down, Sinbad was surprised to see her, especially her hair. Snapping out of his trance, he saw Ja'far apologizing to her.

"It's fine! Well see ya!" Before they could say anything, she was off. What she didn't know was that she caught interest of Sinbad. Walking around, she finally found Cayden. She spent the rest of the day with him, and then headed home to tell Igneel what happened today.

  As for Sinbad, after Sora left, he couldn't stop thinking about her. 'Could she be a Fanalis? If so, then maybe she could join me. Maybe her and Masrur could get along with each other.' More thoughts racked his brain. But another thought came to him, and it involved Igneel. 'Maybe I could sneak over there to find it. Just got to get away from Ja'far.' Lets just say he didn't get a good night's sleep.

  What Sora didn't know was that a certain purple-head would watch her battle the next day.
