As Sin said he's fine with staying in the Dungeon, he continued, "I'll take the metal vessel even if I have to defeat you and take it by force." Mystras were confused and shocked.

"Why is he arguing with Zepar?" Hina asked

"What could have happened while we were unconscious...?" Mystras asked Hina

"Well, in any case..." Hina smiled, sweat dropping. "If Sinbad is going to fight, then we'll fight alongside him!" Everyone stood behind Sin, ready for the battle.

"...How foolish." Zepar mumbled. 'Even if he has a metal vessel, he's still only human... He's no threat to a Djinn like me who has been granted eternal life. I'll rip your souls apart.' Before he could do anything, Seredine interrupted him.

"Wait, Sinbad!" Everyone looked at her, confused. "Sinbad, please put down your sword. It won't do any good to carry on this dispute. Zepar, I apologize for our rudeness. Could we please carry on with the trials?"

"Seren...why are you stopping us?! Are you saying we should just stay quiet and let all of this slide?!" Sin stood in front of her. Sora was angered by Serendine's words.

"That's not it, Sinbad." She passed Sin, confusing and angering him. "I understand that your friends have been treated terribly. If I was in your position, I wouldn't forgive him either. But remember, Zepar's power was...the power to interfere with the mind of his target and completely control a human being... Just think about what would happen if he took control  of Masrur and Sora again, or even you this time. If that were to be the case, none of us would survive!" She kept whispering to Sin. "We wouldn't be able to conquer this Dungeon and Heliohapt's problems would remain unsolved... Are you really okay with that? That's why we must grin and bear it. For the sake of the friends who risk their lives because they believe in you." Sin looked towards his friends. Sora looked into Seren's eyes, trying to find an ounce of lies. Seren sweat dropped under her glare.

"You better not be lyin'." Shaking her head, Seren nodded then looked towards Zepar.

"Zepar...I beg of you. Please continue the trials to choose a king."

He tilted his head, glaring. "Don't wanna. I already told you. I won't acknowledge Sinbad as king. These trials were meant to test the strength of the subordinates of the one who would be king. If I refuse to acknowledge him as king, then it's pointless to continue the trials. I won't choose him as king. I expect more from a king vessel than what Sinbad has shown me." Silence is what he got in return.

'Our trials are over then. What more can we do?' Ja'far thought. Before Tamira could say anything, Sora interrupted them.

"So you're sayin' that those trials that we went through were useless! Sounds like to me that you won't acknowledge him because you were angry that Sin disobeyed your 'rules' and wanted to fight for his friend!"

"I would watch what I say, little girl, unless you want to die." Zepar glared harshly at her.

"Oh~ so now you're threatenin' me? Wow, I'm so scared." She backed away and waved her hands in front of her. "If ya won't acknowledge him as king," pointing at Sin, "Then acknowledge someone else!"

"What do you mean, Sora?" Ja'far asked her

"I mean the trials can continue if someone else wants to be king, right, Miss Tamira?" She looked towards her.

"R-right." Her entire body shook with fear, afraid she would anger Zepar more. 'How did she know what I was going to say?' "W-while you refuse to a-acknowledge Sinbad, the trials could continue if t-there was another king vessel here? If there was another person here capable being a king vessel, then there's a chance that person could be chosen, isn't there?" If so, I...would like to recommend Lady Seredine as another king vessel!" Everyone, aside from Sora who closed her eyes and nodded her head, looked at her shocked, .

"What?!" Ja'far shouted at her

"I-I know! I'm just an attendant, and I know it's not my place to say something like this! But..." She closed her eyes. "Is it really so wrong for me to think of my Princess when a chance like this appears right in front of us?! I mean...out of all of us here, the one who wants power more than anyone else...is definitely our Princess!" She recalled what Seren went through to get to where she was today. "That time in Parthevia, and all that time we spent on the run, chased by our own country, all she could do was regret her own lack of strength. If she had more power, she would probably take back the country she lost... No, she definitely wants to take it back!" Hearing this, Sin and Drakon's eyes widened. "She wouldn't have to sit back and let someone protect it for us, but could take action with her own hands... Isn't wanting such power natural? Our Princess has worried and suffered great distress over her powerlessness. That's why I want her to get her hands on a metal vessel!" Sahel looked towards her.

"Tamira..." She looked towards Zepar. "Djinn, please listen to our pleas. Our Mistress has been a Princess from the start...and has never been a subordinate of Lord Sinbad's. Please consider Lady Serendine as another option for a king vessel, and allow us to undergo your trial." Sahel and Tamira looked towards the ground, awaiting his answer.

Seren was speechless, clenching her fists. 'Tamira, Sahel... You're willing to go this far...'

'It's true that instead of fighting with Zepar, undergoing his trials and obtaining the metal vessel is an infinitely better option...' Ja'far held his arm. 'But this is Zepar we're talking about. There's no way of telling what kind of crazy trial he'll think of next.' Looking at Zepar, he saw him thinking of what to do next. 'On top of that, can we really just stand aside and let someone else take the metal vessel?!' Before he could do anything, Sin put his hand in front of him.

"Seren. Do you have the resolve it takes to undergo the Djinn's trials?" Looking towards her, she was talking with Tamira and Sahel.

"...Resolve? That's not even a question worth asking." she said without looking at him. Turning around, she looked directly into his eyes. "I can't just blatantly ignore the feelings of the two people that have cared so much about me." Looking at Zepar, she didn't hesitate. "Zepar, I want power to take back my home country...and to change myself, who has been powerless to do anything! Please give me a chance! Let me undergo your trials to become king!" Everyone awaited his answer.

Inhaling, he stated, "Humans sure are creatures intent on doing things their own way. Whose friends, whose subordinates, and who's the king vessel... You haven't listened to what I've said about any of it... Humans really are..." Closing his eyes, he reopened them with a smile, eyes softening. "Interesting creatures. Fine. I'll recognize you as a possible king vessel. However...all of that was just big talk. I can't recognize you as king with some half-hearted trial. So, my trial for you..." He frowned, pointing at Seren and Sin. "There are two king vessels. So it's natural to gave you fight each other, right? But it's boring if you just fight to compare your strength like the fights I've already seen...that's why, I want you to compete in a different way. This will be my final trial." Seren and Sin both looked determined to win.
