"What the...Ja'far and Masrur...will fight to the death?!" Sin said, shocked
"I'm afraid I have to refuse. Zepar, wasn't this supposed to be a trial to test our strength? There's no reason we should fight to the death." Ja'far said
Zepar sighed. "You just don't get it, huh? Listen up. If I tell you to fight, you fight. If I tell you to kill each other, you kill each other. In a Dungeon, the rules of the Djinn are absolute... Besides, what problem can you really have with it this late in the game? You've killed plenty of people to get where you are today, right? What's the problem with adding just one more to the body count?" Ja'far was shocked while Sora wanted to punch Zepar. "I know all about you. You belonged to a troupe of assassins and have been killing people since before you were even old enough to understand what you were doing. Sham Lash chief assassin, Ja'far. You actually enjoyed killing, didn't you? If you didn't, you wouldn't have been able to continue it since such a young age. Tormenting, hurting, killing...you really only felt alive when you were out for blood, didn't you? Somewhere, deep in your heart, you found enjoyment in death, didn't you?" Ja'far looked down. "If that's really your true nature, then what reason do you have to deny my request? You enjoy it, don't you? Killing." Zepar smiled
"...I don't."
"I don't believe you, murderer." Closing his eyes, Zepar continued to smile
Sora had had enough. "Who cares about all that?! It doesn't matter! He's changed!" Everyone looked towards her. "Even if he's killed people, he's changed! He may have done that, but at least he's tryin' to move on from his past!" Before anyone could do anything, Masrur and Sora attacked Zepar. Masrur slashed his neck in half while Sora punched him in the stomach, and they both landed by each other.
"...I'm not a slave anymore...no one can order me to fight to the death ever again." Masrur stated, looking towards his friends. Alarmed, him and Sora looked towards Zepar. They saw his neck healing and where she punched him.
"...You kids really don't listen to what you're told. It's pointless. As long as you're in the Dungeon, its Djinn is invincible. Not a single one of your attacks will be effective." Before he could continue, Sora interrupted him.
"Then let me take their place!" She stepped in front of Ja'far and Masrur.
"Sora! No!" they shouted
Turning towards them, she closed her eyes and smiled. "C'mon guys, I'll be fine! 'Sides, I don't wanna let anyone die!" Turning back at Zepar, she gave a serious expression. "Hey, giant egomaniac! Let me take their place! I promise ta give ya a show!"
Getting irritated, Zepar decided to use his special move. "Fine...if you're really that against following my orders...and wanting to take their place...then I'll do this." He zapped Masrur and Sora with lightning. They didn't know what was happening, but they started to get delusional.
"Masrur! Sora!" Ja'far panicked. "Mas...rur...? Sora...?"
Masrur dropped his sword and clenched his hands. Sora clenched her hands. They smiled wickedly at Ja'far. Masrur bended down and jumped up to the ceiling. Sora stood there. Astounded, Ja'far and Sin watched Masrur jump from the air to the ground, making the pillar crack in half from the force of his strength.
"Masrur?! Are you okay?!" Ja'far said, looking down for Masrur
"Amazing! So this is the power of one of the ancient Red Lions. It far surpasses normal human limits. I wonder what the little girl's power is like?" It sounded like Zepar's voice in Masrur's body. Now controlling Sora, he made her punch the ground, cracking it, then using 'Fire Dragon's: Roar.' "Woah! So much power hidden in her! I think I made my choice!" He made Sora and Masrur look at Ja'far wickedly with a smile on their face. "How about it? Now we can make this an interesting death match." Before Ja'far could do anything, Masrur and Sora ran away, laughing. "Here I am. Over here! Oh, but I guess you'll have to focus on both of these two! These bodies are amazing." He made them do flips and other tricks. "The power to jump so high I feel like I'm flying. An inexhaustible supply of overflowing power. With bodies like these, I can do anything! Even breathe fire!" He made Sora put fire on her hands. Getting them on the pillar, he made the pillar crack from the force, landing behind Ja'far. "Only it might be difficult to adjust to all this power, huh?"
Turning around, Ja'far saw Zepar in both. 'This is...not Masrur or Sora!' He gave them a serious expression.
