Chapter 10

  The next day, Sora trained with Igneel for a few hours and went into town. When she got to the market, she saw a poster of herself. "Wanted: Sora Dragneel; Alive. 100 coins." 'Did they really put up a poster of me just 'cause I beat up two guards? Man, what pushovers.' In reality, they put the poster up because she beat up the guards and messed up a building.

  Before she could react, a man tried to tackle her to the ground but she caught his wrist. Struggling, tried to use his other hand but she caught that one, too. Smirking, she flipped him on his back. With that, she walked away. Looking around for Cayden, she finally spotted him. Sadly, there were guards asking him questions. Looking around, she found a barrel to hide behind. Sneaking there, she listened to their conversation.

"Where is the little girl?"

"Who are you talkin' about?"

"The pink haired girl."

"Sora? I haven't seen her."

"If you see her, report it to us." With that, they walked away.

  Cayden scratched the back of his neck. Sighing, he went back to work. Would he tell them or not was up to what Sora did to get in trouble. Before he could react, Sora jumped on his back. "What did you do to get in trouble?"

"Do ya remember when I beat up those guards?"

"Yes."

"They put up a poster 'cause I did that."

"Well, it is against the law to beat guards, but you were doing something right. So, I'll let it slide."

"Really?!"

"Yep."

  As Cayden and Sora were walking around the market, they saw guards. As they were trying to sneakily walk away, a guard caught them. Before she could get away, he caught her. Struggling, she tried to get out of his grip. Without thinking, she bit his hand. Screaming, he let go to hold his it and stumbled back. "Why you little-" Before he could finish, Cayden hit the back of his head with a frying pan. (A/N: if you get the reference, yay!!!. Also, I don't know if they had that back then, but roll with it please~~)

  High-fiving each other, they were off. As they walked around, Sora kept thinking of a way to get innocent. She suddenly got an idea, even if it was risky. Before Cayden could react, she ran off. Running after her, he saw she stood in front of the guards. As he tried to get near to her, she looked back at him, smiling.

Somewhere else:

  As Sinbad, Masrur, and Ja'far were searching for Sora, they saw wanted posters of her. Now, Sinbad was a little worried for her. Looking around, he caught sight of her struggling against a guard. About to help, he saw Cayden hit him with a frying pan. Before he could go over there, they walked off. So, he decided to follow them to see if they needed any help. (A/N: Sin, we call it stalking over here.)

Time skip~~~~~

  As he followed them, along with Ja'far and Masrur, he noticed she stopped walking. About to go over there, she suddenly ran off. 'Huh?' Walking, he saw she went up to the guards. Panicking, he was about to get her out of there but she simply smiled toward Cayden.

  As for Sora, she looked to see they bounded her wrists with rope. With that, they pulled her along in the colosseum. As she walked, she caught sight of two kids, a girl and a boy, playing together. They both had red hair. As she watched them, the boy caught her stare. Snapping out of her trance, the guards pulled her towards their priestess.
