Magi x Fairy Tail crossover: prequel

Chapter 9

  Turning around, Sinbad, Ja'far, Mystras, and Masrur were surprised. Ja'far was even more surprised because he couldn't detect any movement from her. Rubbing the back of his neck, Sinbad just smiled at Sora. Masrur just looked at her. Mystras was sweating a little; he didn't want to get hurt, or killed, by her.

"Are ya gonna just stand there, or are ya gonna tell me why you were followin' me?" Sora tapped her foot impatiently. Snapping out of his trance, Sinbad did his signature move. Even if she's younger, that doesn't stop him.

"Well, little lady, I just wanted to get the chance to meet a strong, beautiful girl." Grabbing her hand, he kissed it, bowing. Sora only stared at him blankly. (Think of Kuroko from Kuroko Basketball.) Taking her hand away, she wiped his saliva off of her hand on her shirt.

"Are ya gonna stop actin' like an idiot and tell me why you're really here?"

  That surprised Sinbad, Ja'far, and Mystras. For Sinbad, he was surprised a girl didn't fall for his charm. No woman has ever not fallen for him. Ja'far secretly triumphed at this. 'Finally!!' He snickered, too. Mystras snickered. Regaining his composure, Sinbad spoke about his dream.

"Why should I help you? I don't know you very well."

"Yes, but don't you wanna change the world?" Silence was the only thing heard. "That's why I want to become king, and have my own country to make that happen. Would you be willing to help me in my quest?"

"Ya know, I get what you're sayin', but you don't have to be king to change the world."

"But-"

"Look, I need to get home. I'll think 'bout it." Before he could react, Sora ran off. Not giving up, he was about to chase after her but was stopped by Ja'far.

"Sin, give her some time."

"But Ja'far-"

"No buts! We need to get back to the ship." Before Sinbad could do anything, Ja'far dragged him off, while struggling, with the others following. As for Masrur, he only looked at where Sora was standing. Looking behind him, Mystras waited for him.

"What's wrong, Masrur?"

"Nothing.." Walking, he left Mystras behind. Shrugging, Mystras walked away.

  As for Sora, she walked in thought. She mostly thought about Sinbad's request. Shaking her head, she decided to ask Igneel what to do.

  Getting home, she told Igneel about Sinbad and what he said. "What should I do?"

"It's up to you. If you decide to go, I'll be waiting here to get us home."

"Hmmmmm..." Thinking real hard, she was stuck at what to do. 'Should I go? I don't know him real well, and he seems a little greedy. But that red haired kid seems to trust him.." In all honesty, she took a liking towards Masrur. She could sense they were alike in some ways. Nodding her head, she decided to get to know Sinbad and his friends a little better.
