A/N: Hey! Here's a shoutout to Kenji_Chan266 because they explained how old Natsu would be. Since he's around 9 when Igneel left, I'm going to make Sora and him 10. Don't question it... This is placed after Sinbad gets Masrur with him.

In Sindria, Sinbad, Ja'far, and Masrur were all sitting on the couch together. On the opposite side was Aladdin, Morg, and Alibaba. They were waiting for Sinbad to tell how he met Sora.
"So, Uncle Sinbad... How did you meet Sora?" Aladdin asked
"Well, I met Sora when I was 16. That was after I freed Masrur in Reim. So where should I begin?..." Sinbad said
"Sin, you heard about her when there was matches in the colosseum in Reim." Ja'far said sweat dropping.
"Oh yeah."
(A/N: from now on, the story is gonna take place in Reim. That's where he freed Masrur. Before we start from where Sinbad met Sora, I'm gonna explain why she went there.)
In Fairy Tail world:
10 year old Natsu and Sora were fighting against who won the race. You see, they were racing each other to see who could get to the lake faster.
"I won!" Sora exclaimed
"No I did!" Natsu said
As they kept fighting, they butted their heads against each other. Igneel watched and chuckled at this. Soon, he would miss being with them. But before he disappeared completely, he would train Sora in a different world. It wasn't that she wasn't strong, he just wanted her to train for her transformation magic. Though Natsu and Sora were learning Dragon Slaying Magic, Igneel wanted to teach her transforming into dragon-like form. He knew she had the power to do it, but not in this world. Snapping out of his thoughts, he saw Natsu and Sora were staring at him.
"Dad! Were ya even listenin'?" Sora asked
"Sadly no. What did you ask?"
"We asked who did ya see win." Natsu said
"It was a tie."
"What?! Then we'll have to do it again!" Natsu and Sora said at the same time. They both looked at each other. When they were about to do the race again, Igneel told them it was getting dark.
"Aww. One more race. Pleeease Dad." Sora begged
"Yeah Dad!" Natsu was with her
"I'm sorry, but you need rest for tomorrow. Especially Sora."
"But-"
"No but. Now come on." Igneel said calmly. With that, he walked.
"Fiiiine."
As they were walking home, Sora and Natsu noticed Igneel looked like he was fighting against something.
"Hey Natsu."
"Yeah?"
"What do ya think's wrong with Dad?"
"Don't know."
Shrugging, they left it be. Surely he would tell them. The next day would be exciting for Sora.
Next day~~~~~~~
When Sora woke up, she saw Natsu was still asleep. Looking away, she saw Igneel was asleep. She walked up to him, and poked his snout. Opening one eye, he saw what bothered him. Seeing Sora, he decided to tell her.
"Looks like you're up Dad." Smiling, she was oblivious to what was going to take place.
"You could say that." Getting up, he stretched like a cat would. "Sora, can you come with me?"
"Of course! What about Natsu?"
"Let's let him sleep for now."
"Okay!"
Time skip~~~~~~~~~~~
After walking, Sora and Igneel came across an opened area. She noticed he was conflicted.
"What's wrong Dad?"
"Sora, since you are learning transformation magic, I thought you could go somewhere else to get stronger."
"Where's that, then?"
"It's a different place than where we are."
"Okay? Then I'll tell Natsu when he wakes up." She thought he was going with them.
"Sora, I'm telling you that Natsu can't come."
"Why?"
"This is special training just for you. Natsu will stay here."
"No. I don't wanna go if Natsu's not there!"
"Sora, please understand. I didn't want to do this, but I've decided it's best."
"Why?"
"Because it's better for you and him."
"How will Natsu train without you?"
"I will make a copy of me made out of fire. Then I will make a portal, and we'll go to a different world."
"You can do that?!"
"Yes. Do you understand?"
"I guess, but I'm gonna get ya back from breaking me and Natsu up. What will ya do about me?"
"I'll tell him you went on a journey and will return some weeks later."
"Okay!"
Chuckling, Igneel did what he said he would. Though Natsu didn't agree for Sora to go, he finally accepted. As for Sora and Igneel, they were off into the Magi world.
