Walking around the village, they were amazed by the architecture. Taking it in, there were smiles on Sin, Sora, and Sharrkan's face. Ja'far looked at the map.

"This is definitely the Torran Village."

"I can't believe there's actually a village in a place like this." Sin said

"Yeah, I was starting to doubt it myself... I mean...we walked and walked and saw nothing but desert. There wasn't anything that even resembled a village..."

"There were plenty of dangerous creatures, and it became more and more difficult to believe that people would live out here."

Sora snickered, remembering when Sharrkan was held hostage. "Guess the phrase 'Don't judge a book by its cover' really does come to mind."

"Yeah."

"S-sorry...I'd only heard rumors of its location, too..." Trying to join in, he looked apologetic. However, Masrur interrupted him.

"...It sure was a long way." This only escalated Sharrakan's guilt.

"It's fine! 'Sides, the journey is all that matters!" Sora said

"Sora's right. We got here in the end, so it's all good." Upon noticing  women exiting a tent, he prepared his charms. "Excuse me, Miss! We're travelers...could you please show us into your village?" However, Sora noticed they were trembling, and she had a bad feeling.

Before he could do anything, they heard a bell ring. With that, warriors holding spears surrounded them, making the gang get defensive.

Sin! What've you done now?!" Ja'far was sweating from nervousness, for there were spears shoved close to their face.

"N-nothing! I just called out to them!"

"Then why are they reactin' like this?!" Sora shouted, clearly worried. She almost punched one of the men when he threatened to empale her with his spear.

"I don't know!"

"Well, ya sure messed up this time!" Ignighting her fists with fire, she dared one of them to move.

"Why do you always blame me?!"

" 'CAUSE its you we're talkin' 'bout!"

Before they did anything, the warriors started speaking. Unfortunately, Sin and his allies didn't understand what they were saying.

"W-what are they saying?!" Sin was in a panic.

"T-they're speaking 'Torran'." Sharrkan explained. "Torran is a completely different language from ours. It's their official language...!"

"Can you understand them, Sharrkan?" Sin asked

"A-a little...but they're so agitated that it's difficult to catch everything they're saying..." Sharrakan looked troubled with all the pressure put on him.

"Try to calm them down for now!" Before Sharrkan could do just that, Masrur kicked, sending the Torrans back from the force with their spears wipped in half. Sora used her fire and burned some of the spears. The gang looked at them.

"Sin, if words won't get through to them, I can silence them with force." Masrur announced

"Yeah! If these losers try anythin' then I'll just burn their skin." Sora threatened. Hearing both, this escalated their anger.

"No, Masrur, Sora! You'll just provoke them...!" Sin could see the anger and fear written in the Torrans' faces. However, someone shouted in their Torran language.

"That's enough!" Turns out, it was an old man. Walking forward, he continued to speak in his official language. "Put down your weapons. Travelers, you as well, please..." Finally, he spoke to where the gang could understand. "I am the chief of this village. I can speak your language." Getting in the front of the Torrans, he looked at Masrur and Sora. "That red hair, and those eyes...you two are Fanalis, aren't you?"
