The next day, Sora trained with Igneel more than she has ever done. She wanted to have some time with him before she left. As she was getting everything she needed, Igneel called her over to him.
"What is it, Dad?"
"Hold out your hands."
Nodding, she did what she was told. Putting it in her hands, Igneel closed her hands. Sora looked and saw a necklace.
Holding it out, she stared at it in awe. She put it on, and hugged Igneel. He patted her head gently, and looked at her seriously. "This necklace is special."
"Why?"
"Remember when I told you I would signal you to come home." Sora nodded her head. "When that time comes, the crystal will glow."
"Okay! Thanks, Dad!" She hugged him again, and waved goodbye to him. Once she got out of the forest, she went looking for Cayden. When she spotted him, she ran up to him and jumped on his back. He stumbled, but regained his balance. Smiling, he held her so she wouldn't fall.
"What are up to, now?"
"Just sayin' goodbye!"
Setting her down, he got down to her level. "What do ya mean you're leaving?"
"I'm gonna go on a journey with Sinbad!" She noticed he was serious but sad. "Come on, Cayden! I'll be alright!"
"You barely know him though. What if he's a bad person?"
"He seems like a nice guy. 'Sides, if he tries anything, I can just beat 'em up!"
"At least, let me escort the little lady to her destination." Bowing, he held out his hand. Giggling, Sora took his hand and nodded.
Time skip~~~~~
Following Sinbad's scent, she was greeted with a boat. She let go of Cayden's hand and searched for Sinbad. Not looking in front of her, she bumped into Hinahoho. Looking up, she was greeted by a man with blue hair. Blinking, she stepped back. She got a good look at him and looked up to his face.
As for Hinahoho, he watched Sora. He remembered Sinbad talking about a little girl and that she was going to join them. Snapping out of his thoughts, he noticed Sora poking his stomach. Blinking, he smiled and patted her head. Looking up, she smiled at him.
"Mister, you're look really strong! Can ya fight me some time?!"
Sweat dropping, he was about to reply but Sinbad interrupted him. "What's wrong, Hina? Shouldn't you be helping.." When Sinbad noticed Sora, he smiled and was about to greet her but was stopped by Cayden.
"There you are Sora! I've been looking for you!"
"Sorry! I just noticed that Sinbad's scent was here and wanted to follow the rest." She smiled. "Well Sinbad, I'm here and ready to depart!"
"That's good. Why don't you get on the ship, and wait while we get the rest of the supplies?"
"Okay!" With that, Sora went up to the ship. Staring at it, she started to feel nervous. She looked back at Sinbad, and smiled nervously. He smiled back at her, but noticed her pale face. Walking up to her, he put his hand on her back. He started to get worried.
"You okay, Sora?"
"I don't know. But all I do know is that I'm not gonna like this journey."
With much effort, she walked onto the ship. She stood next to the rail, and looked at the water. Once it started moving, she saw Cayden waving and smiling. She weakly waved at him, and threw up, letting it fall into the ocean. Though people tried helping her, it made no difference.
After throwing up for an hour, she felt better. She wiped her mouth, and walked around. 'This is gonna be a long journey.' Finding Sinbad, she walked to him and poked his arm. Scared, he was about to hit whatever destroyed his train of thought but noticed it was Sora. When he asked if she felt better, she nodded.
"Hey, Sin, where are we headin' to?"
"To Balbadd."
