Zepar was amazed that she got out of his control. "What...how?..." He stopped closing in on them.

"Guess I just needed a little push to wake up. Now, how 'bout I show ya what I can really do?" With that, Sora closed in on Masrur and punched him in the stomach. 'Sorry Mas...' she thought, sorrowfully. As this was going on, the observers were confused. "Hey, Ja'far! I know you're tired an' all, but I think it's 'bout time you show 'em your real power! Or are ya already at your limit?" She turned back at him, smiling.

"Yeah..."

"Tch... He's already at his limit." Zepar was irritated by Sora.

"...Limit? Me? You sure are conceited." Ja'far said. "Your true form can't be harmed and you borrowed another person's body in order to fight... Is that how you intend to win...? Even though you're a Djinn, your true nature isn't actually that great, is it?"

"Yeah. To me, you're really just a coward!" Sora held her tongue at him, putting her finger under her eyelid and making it droop.

"...You're really getting on my nerves..." Masrur mumbled, angered by their words. "Fine. I'll rep you apart. You and those impertinent mouth of yours."

Ja'far and Sora sensed overwhelming strength, everyone did. However, that didn't stop Sora and Ja'far from fighting. Ja'far put his magic in his darts and Sora put her strength in her fire. Jumping, Masrur was about to kick them but Ja'far wrapped his darts around him. Everyone was shocked, aside from Sora, and Ja'far only smiled.

"What?!" Masrur panicked.

"I finally caught you. No matter how strong you are, you can't break a household vessel, can you?"

"Nice goin', Ja'far!" She gave him a thumbs up, smiling with her eyes closed.

"It was tough. With your speed, you were easily able to avoid my attacks...and with all the fire aimed at me...but in the end, that's a borrowed body. Since you couldn't completely control Masrur's strength and Sora's, with her magic, you weren't able to do anything but rush straight ahead." Zepar was amazed he knew. "No matter how fast you move, if I know what direction you're coming from, all I have to do is set a trap." Ja'far tightened the rope around Masrur. "To a Djinn like you, humans are inferior beings. The moment you let yourself get worked up by our provocation was the moment that sealed your defeat. Get out of Masrur!" Ja'far activated his household vessel, finally letting it loose.

"Yeah! We don't need ya in Mas! Fire Dragon: Brilliant Flame!" She brought her hands together, lighting them in fire, and threw a fireball at him. After the dust, Ja'far and Sora saw Masrur laying on the ground. "We did it!" Sora jumped in the air.

Ja'far kneeled next to Masrur. 'In the end, I didn't have any choice but to be rough with him.' "Masrur...I'm sorry."

"Don't be so hard on yourself, Ja'far. I'm sure Mas is okay!" Sora kneeled next to Ja'far, and patted his back. Masrur opened his eyes. Ja'far noticed his eyes were opening.

"Masrur! You're awake..." Ja'far was glad. Sora was glad, but she had a bad feeling in her stomach.

"...oww... Heh, you sure surprised me... You almost knocked me out cold." Ja'far scrunched his eyebrows together, confused. Sora wasn't glad anymore, instead, she was angry. "Don't make those faces. It's okay. Once the match is decided, I'll leave this body." Zepar just smiled at the two of them.

"Decided? Wasn't it just decided?!" Ja'far screamed

Masrur reached for one of Ja'far's darts and put it over his chest. "This is a fight to the death. You can't end this until one of you is dead. Go on. Kill him. If you kill him, you win. If one of you dies, you pass. That's the trial I've set for you. Oh, yeah. Since the little girl got out of my control, you'll have to fight her too." Sora and Ja'far were speechless while Masrur just smiled. "You want to devote your household vessel to serving your Master, don't you?"

Drakon and Sin were confused. "Ja'far...? Sora...? Something's not right. The match should already have been decided..."

Ja'far merely stood up. "This fight to the death lasts until one of us dies...that was the condition, right? If that's the case, then it doesn't matter which one of us dies...does it?" Ja'far gripped his dart.

Sora's eyes widened. She put her hands over his and looked directly into his eyes, shaking her head. "Don't do it, Ja'far. Don't you dare do what he says. If ya do..."

He smiled at her, then looked towards Sin. "Sin...I'll leave the rest to you." Before she could stop him, he propelled the dart into his chest, blood scattering. Watching him fall, she held his body close to her, tears trickling down her face while Masrur was shocked. Everyone couldn't believe what had happened.

"Ja'far!" Sin yelled out with anguish.
