Some people's faces were shocked and others were waiting to what would unfold from this. So when Sharrkan arrived, Gafra spoke.

"How dare you insult us by denying Lord Sharrkan the crown that legitimately belongs to him?! Narmes. You're an embarrassment as a consul!" This angered Narmes, greatly.

"I've said nothing but the truth! You're using the fact that we've been unable to enter the Royal Tomb to have our formal investiture, and aiming to take the throne for yourselves, aren't you?!" he shouted

"Hmph... With such uncertainty surrounding the throne, you sure seem to think you know everything... That's just further proof that Lord Sharrkan is the legitimate heir. The majority of the people already support the former king's faction. Just what is it going to take for you to accept tha't the way things are?"

"Gafra! You jerk..." Before Narmes could do anything, Armakan stepped in front of him, holding his staff in front of him. "...Lord Armakan."

"I am the 36th king of Heliohapt. I have accepted the responsibility and have the resolve needed to be king. No matter what you do, or what schemes you put in place, I will never waver. Remember that." Shocked, everyone just stared at him. As for Gafra and Patra, they were silent but gave him a look of defeat, for now. After he said that, Sharrkan spoke.

"Shut up, false King Armakan." This shocked Narmes, but Armakan only sighed. "The one who should be seated on that throne is me. I was entrusted with the will of the former king, and as the one with the most direct line of succession, I am the one that should legitimately inherit the crown." With Sora, as she heard this, she had the urge to punch "that brat", as she put it. "Besides, I say it... The name that my father, the former king, had carved into his sarcophagus...was my name. For generations, before the king dies, he would summon a mason and bestow upon him the name of his successor. The mason would carve that name into the king's sarcophagus. Then, as it is forbidden for any living person to know the identity of the heir before the investiture, the mason must die alongside the king." Sora's anger was increasing every minute by what she heard. "However, the former king's mason came to me to plead for his life. He said he had a wife and child to think about... Of course, such behavior is unforgivable... in the end, that mason was beheaded. However, the name that was carved into the sarcophagus at that time was..." This shocked Armakan and the other Heliohapt citizens.

"...Lord Sharrkan's...?" Narmes said, shakenly.

"Wonderful! If that's true, then you are, without a doubt, the legitimate heir to the throne!" Gafra said

"Why didn't you tell us that sooner?!" Patra said "If that's true, then we must prepare for your formal investiture at once...and we must make a formal announcement!" Before him and her could continue, Armakan interrupted them.

"Stop this farce!" he shouted "How foolish... You want the throne so badly that you're willing to go that far... You're a disgrace to the Royal Family! Never show your face in front of me again!" People looked towards him. No one knew what to say. As for Sora, she was shocked he could say something like to his brother. Sure, he wasn't exactly perfect to be king but what he said... To her, it was bittersweet.

"...Your Majesty! P-please wait a minute!" Narmes said. Armakan and his followers left.

Chuckling, Gafra spoke. "How typical of the young king to lose his composure."

"That's right. At any rate, with this it's decided that Sharrkan should be king."

'That's right...now we no longer need to prevent the investiture. In fact, we must visit the Royal Tomb as soon as possible to declare Sharrkan as the heir to the throne...' Gafra thought. Before Sora could beat them to a pulp, Mystras held her back. You could only hear her say 'let me at 'em' while struggling. "Travelers, you said you know something about that mysterious structure? Perfect. I'll give you a special mission. Get rid of that 'Dungeon' and return the location to the way it was before. Make it so that we can enter the Royal Tomb. You'll be rewarded for your help! We'll even give you the right to trade with Heliohapt. It's an important mission for you to fulfill as foreigners!"

"...Understood. Please leave it to us..." Sin said

"Then we'll come to collect you tomorrow morning. Now we must make the necessary preparations for the investiture and inform the former king's faction of our victory!" Waving goodbye, Gafra and Patra left.

"Is it really okay to help them out, Sin?" Hina asked while Sora was trying to calm down.

"...Yeah. If it was a 'Dungeon', I intended to conquer it from the very beginning... Domestic affairs have nothing to do with us, so it's not our problem. More importantly..." He looked towards Sharrkan.

"How can you say that, Sin? If it were me, I'd beat them 'til they cried for mercy." Sin and the others only sighed. As for Seredine, she widened her eyes.

"Sora, if it doesn't involve you, you shouldn't get involved. Although, I must admit I'm curious about all of this."

"Sorry, but I get involved if I wanna. They're lucky that Mas held me back."

Getting out of his chair, Sharrkan approached them. "I also have something I wanted to speak with you about... I'm grateful to you foreigners... Thanks to you, I was able to divert my mother and Gafra's attentions... In this palace, I'm always supervised by the two of them, so both my ability to express my own views and the actions I can take are restricted. I'm not allowed to do anything on my own. Mother and Gafra are unable to control my brother, so they want to make me king and control the throne through me. Even though I know that, there hasn't been anything I could do to stop them... What I said before...the story about how my name was carved into the sarcophagus...and about the mason being beheaded...it was really...all a lie." This shocked Sin and the gang.

"I thought it was strange. If it was the truth, then it made no sense for you to have kept it from the Queen Dowager and Vizier. Why did you tell such a lie?" Seredine said

"Because if I didn't say something, then mother and the others wouldn't have let you anywhere near that mysterious structure... Asking complete strangers...and foreigners on top of that...for help may be a mistake. But...there's no one else I can ask. Please...get rid of that 'Dungeon'."

"Ya got it!" Sora put her arm around him, smiling with her eyes closed. This made him flustered while everyone was shocked by her actions. "In exchange, do somethin' 'bout your mom and Vizier, okay?"

"O-okay." Walking away, he thought about her. He got back on his chair, and waved awkwardly back to Sora. After he left, Sin put her in a head-lock.

"Sora, what happens if he punished you for that action of yours." He messed with her hair.

"I know he wouldn't have. I can tell he's a nice person!" Struggling to get out of his grip, Seredine asked her a question.

"Sora, if you don't mind me asking, how old are you? And are you a Fanalis?"

"10, and I'm a Dragon Slayer, not a Fanalis!"

"What's a Dragon Slayer?"

"Ya get magic from a dragon, and they used to fight dragons with it but me and Natsu don't hurt dragons! After all, my dad's a dragon!" Stopping what they were doing, everyone's jaw dropped. Getting out of Sin's grip, she walked towards the exit. "Aren't ya guys comin'? I wanna get back to the inn!"

Time skip~~~~~~

Back at the inn, Sora was about to go into her room but was stopped by Sin and the gang, including Seredine. "What d'ya guys want?"

"What do you mean your dad's a dragon?!" Sin asked while putting his hands on her shoulders and shaking her. Ja'far and Seredine tried to get him off of her.

"Ya didn't ask. 'Sides, I thought it didn't matter. Now, if ya'll 'cuse me, I've got a bed that's callin' my name!" Getting out of his grip, she slipped into her room and closed the door, making sure to unlock it.

Trying to open it, Sin twisted the doorknob but figured out it was locked. Banging on the door, he shouted for her to unlock the door and come out. Sadly, Sora was fast asleep. Ja'far and everyone sweat dropped. They tried to stop him, but he wasn't giving up. They finally gave up, and left him there.
